As you know that VIT Vellore and NIT Meghalaya both are reupdated university in India.

But VIT Vellore is private and NIT Meghalaya is under Central Government so fees structure of VIT is high.

But in term of placement VIT Vellore will not impress you.

Average package offered :

VIT Vellore: 6 - 7 LPA

NIT Meghalaya: 6.5 - 7.5 LPA

Highest package offered:

VIT Vellore: approx. 40 LPA

NIT Meghalaya: approx. 45 LPA

The thing is that, colleges only disclose the overall placement scenario of B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech or any other UG and PG programmes. • The college campus is about 300 acres with 67 faculties.
• The college has been ranked at 67th position among engineering colleges by NIRF.
• The college offers UG and PG programmes like B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, M.Sc. , Ph.D.
• The college campus has the facilities like boys hostel, girls hostel, gym, library, sports, cafeteria, wifi, medical/hospital, alumni association etc.

Hey,  i can surely provide youa detailed comparison between these two mentioned colleges but only after knowing the preferred course. As,  the faculty and education reviews are different for different colleges  and also the placements.So , please mention your preferred course in comments.

NIT Meghalaya is also a good option if you can get a CSE branch there, since it is the more experienced college of these three. Else IIIT-Kalyai is always a nice choice. It is being mentored by IIT-KGP.
