With a KCET rank of 198999 and SC category, getting a seat in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Kanakapura Road , is very difficult.

Last year, for SC category, the closing ranks for most branches were around 28,000 or better. Your rank is much higher than that, so chances are very low.

You can still try in other colleges with higher cutoff ranks or look into management quota if you are open to that.
