Bachelor of Design admission is done through various entrance examinations like SEED, AIEED, and DAT in various private and government universities across India. The minimum age limit is 20 years and 23 years for B. Des. admission in institutions like NID and NIFT respectively. AIEED: All India Entrance Examination for Design or AIEED is a national-level entrance exam conducted by ARCH Academy of Design for the acknowledgement to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in Design. The exam is conducted in online mode.

UCEED: UCEED or Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay for admission to BDes degree programme.

NID DAT: NID DAT or NID Design Aptitude Test is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the National Institute of Design, for admission to various UG and PG courses provided by the institute.

would like to tell you that the only difference is that is in the course duration. B.Sc. Is generally a 3 years course whereas B. Des is a 4 years course. B.Des product designing is more reputed and prosperous than Bsc product designing. By doing BSc in product designing you can settle abroad by working for company other than this there are alot of field where you can get the job like advertising director, graphic designer, product designer, product tester,etc.
