BITS Design School Mumbai scholarships are three types, including merit & means-based scholarships, academic-merit scholarships and the chancellor’s scholarships. Students must fulfil the eligibility criteria to qualify for scholarships at BITS Design School, Mumbai.

BITS Design School Mumbai offers 100% scholarships to students. To be eligible for the BITS Design School merit and means-based scholarship, the student's annual family income (parents'/guardians') must not be more than Rs 18,00,000. Scholarships are awarded after careful evaluation of the student’s application and documents by the Admissions Committee.

Merit and Means-Based Scholarship

To qualify for the Merit-Means Based Scholarship, a student’s family income must be Rs 18,00,000 or less. Selection is based on overall merit, including design test scores, academics, extracurriculars, and portfolio interview. The scholarship offers up to 75% tuition fee waiver, renewed each year of the 4-year programme (as per policy).

Academic Merit-Based Scholarship

All students are automatically considered for the Academic Merit Scholarship. It offers up to 75% tuition fee waiver each year of the 4-year design programme, based on performance and policy.

The Chancellors Scholarship

The Chancellor’s Scholarship is BITS Design School’s top scholarship, given to the best design students in India. It supports high-potential students with special opportunities during their time at the school.

Note: To apply for any BITS Design School scholarship, a student must be an Indian citizen, have completed Grades 10 and 12 from a recognized board, have received an admission offer for the 4-year B.Des (Hons) programme, and meet the specific criteria for the chosen scholarship category.
