This largely depends from which college you graduate. If done from top IIt, NIT and SpA and top Private colleges you can expect 5 to 9lpa as average package.

If done from tier 2 and Tier 3 colleges you nay get an average of 3 to 6lpa.

For other non reputed colleges salary prospects are extremely low at 2lpa.

Architecture has more scope becaus eof jts breadth of job opportunities. Civil engineering have predetermined skillsets and find limited opportunities . 


Although demand hasbene rising for both, But Architecture studnets are short in supply an dhence lookmore attractive for employers. 

Salary prospects lokk equivalent for both and is nore based on college you are graduated from which determines your average range.

Very good demand seen in Urban Planning andTownship Planning with Government set to increase road and highway length. 

Secondly with rise in structural and innovative offices there has bene exceptional demand in Europe and Asia with real estate prices crashing and good demand for Architecture ezpenses seen rising. 

Overall much recommended course.

Hi,

As the name suggests, MBA in petroleum and energy management focuses upon the management of energy corporations. The curriculum of this specialization consists of a mix of conventional management disciplines like finance, marketing, operations, human resource management, along with focused studies on petroleum and energy sectors like refinery technology and economics, natural gas businesses, exploration and non-conventional energy.

Petroleum Management programme is a two year full time programme leading to MBA, internship included. Industries pertaining to oil (petroleum and fuel) and gas, renewable energy, and similar ones, hire postgraduates in this disciplines. The average salary of an architect varries between INR 23000 to INR 1,45,000 approximately per month. It depends on what position you are working on like senior architect, junior architect etc. Also, experience do have a impact on it.

Why Architect has less job and low salary in India ?

Demand for Architecture is moderate however supply of skilled architect students are considerable jn size as on average 50,000 quality students pass every year.

Demand is generally of 15,000 which creates supply demand gap.

This leads to lower salaries.

However top meritorious candidates from IIT and SPa have recived top notch salaries.

does NATA is a entrance exam of architecture

Yes, NATA is an entrance exam for Architecture. Admission will be based on percentage in 12th and score in entrance exams such as NATA or JEE Main. No candidate with less than 50% marks in aggregate shall be admitted to the architecture course unless he/she has passed an examination at the end of the new 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics as subjects of examination at the 10+2 level or 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks or International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination. Pass in NATA exam I. e 80 marks out of 200. 

50% marks in 10+2 with mathematics as compulsory subject.
