Hi, so you already have completed 12th and you want to do biology as an additional subject next year. I guess you can do that. I would suggest you to contact your school and go through the website ones.

But basically contact your school first, they would help you with the process.

My subjects are physics chemistry and biology. So the questions will be asked on the basis of 11th and 12th syllabus?

mrinalini048 14th Sep, 2021

Hey Bhagyashree!

You haven't mentioned the exam for which the questions will be based on 11th and 12th class level in physics, chemistry and biology. Is there any particular entrance exam for which you are referring to? Since you haven't mentioned the exam name, I will tell you the general basis of questions. Questions which are asked in the competitive exams are generally based on 11th and 12th concepts and topics but the level is much hard as compared to school level. From the same concepts, intricate questions are prepared. You should first go through the syllabus of the exam and match it with your school concepts.

2018 pcm 2019 pcm fullsubject repeat 2020 not 2021 not 2021-22 only biology subject lekar neet de sakta hu aur neet ke form me konsi marksheet upload karni hogi teacher kah rahe hai ki only biology subject lekar neet ki exam nahi de sakte iske liye ek saath pcb hindi english pass karni hogi

Pragya sarwaiya 8th Jan, 2022

Hi

If you want to give NEET exam then you are required to do class 12th from PCB (physics, chemistry and biology). But now you are eligible to give NEET even  when your additional subject is biology.

If you are an PCM student without additional subject of biology then you have to study class 12th again from NIOS (National institute for open schooling).

You can't give one subject's exam alone.

After that, if you get qualifying marks in class 12th PCB (which is 50 percent for general category and 40 percent for OBC/SC/ST category) and you have crossed 17 years of age till 31st December then only you are eligible for NEET.

Best friend luck

2018 pcm 2019 pcm repeat 2020 2021 2021-22 me only biology subject lekar neet ki exam de sakte hai ya nahi full detail

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Sep, 2021

Hi

As of now students with biology as an additional subject are eligible for neet so going by this. Yes,  you would be eligible for NEET 2022 if you have study Biology as an additional /optional subject from  any recognised board

This is because,

The eligibility of students with Biology as an additional / optional subject  is in the supreme court but until it gives its judgement students, these students are eligible for neet

Here's the eligibility criteria for NEET :-

-----------) Qualification required :-As per Neet eligibility to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination  or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.

†††Important Note :- Students who have passed Biology as an additional subject are also provisionally eligible for neet until Supreme Court gives its judgement.   For neet 2022 there's still time left so in meanwhile if judgement comes then eligibility of biology additional students will depend upon the outcome of judgement.

-----------)  Percentage required :- You must get

  • at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category

  • at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

-----------)  Age limit :-

  • Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet  one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .

  • Upper age limit :-The upper age limit  is 25 years as on the date of neet examination and there's relaxation of 5 years for obc ncl/SC/ST /PwBD students means upper age limit is 30 years for these categories.

†††† But since 2018, the case of upper age limit is pending in supreme court , and so there's no upper age limit as of now until supreme court gives its judgement over it.

I fail in math class 12 but pass in Physics chemistry and biology is it possible to take economics as subsidary subject and political science is honours subject in Delhi University

mrinalini048 22nd Oct, 2021

Hey!

If you got admission in B.a.(Hons.) Political Science in the University of Delhi(DU) then you can take economics as your GE subject, that is Generic Elective subject. Each semester you would be required to choose a GE subject. It will hold same marks as your other papers. If your college provides the GE option for economics paper like micro economics, macro economics, etc. you can go on to choose them. Economics is provided as GE by almost every Delhi University (DU) college so choosing and getting economics as your GE, it won't be a problem.

I passed class 12 with physics chemistry and biology is it possible to take economics as subsidary subject and political science is honours subject in Delhi University

anchaltibrewal2001 22nd Oct, 2021

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well.

Even if you are a PCB student, you can take admission in BA (Hons.) Political Science Course in Delhi University provided you meet its cutoff eligibility criteria and once you get admission in your interested course you can choose Economics as your GE (General Elective).

There are a total of six semesters in your 3 year undergraduate course. In first four out of six semesters you have to choose one subject of your choice as GE. You can take Economics as your GE and if you continue to study the same GE in continuous four semesters you could become a holder of minor degree as well along with your major hons. degree and further you can even pursue your masters in that particular subject.

Hope this clears your doubt. All the best!
