Hello dear aspirant ,
Hope you’re doing well.
If you change your stream from Science to arts, (B.A programme) then there will be a deduction of 2.5% from your best of four aggregate.
So your best four percentage is 89.50% , after deduction it will be 87%. so, yes youre still eligible to take admission in B.A programme (history +English) in sri aurobindo College evening shift.
Kindly submit your documents as soon as possible. hope this helps.
Please ask if you have any more questions. all the best for your future!
Hello Aspirant,
First of all let me make you clear how the Best four marks are calculated for admissions :-
-->> Marks one language and three academic/elective subjects are taken into consideration.
-->> The three academic/elective subject includes -
** One subject in which admission is sought.
** If you don't mention the same subject in your best 4 in which admission is sought then a disadvantage of 2.5% will be applicable, for admissions in Honours programme.
-->> Two academic/ elective subjects from List A* and in case you do not include the two subjects in best 4 from List A* then you will get -2.5% on your total best 4 percentage.
-->> The subjects included in the calculation of ‘Best of Four’ must have at least 70% theory component and in case the criteria does not met then the marks of theory and practical shall be converted into 70% and 30% on pro rata basis.
* For more details and subjects available in the List A kindly check out the link given below :-

Now as you have mentioned that you are seeking admission in BA hons. in English so your best 4 percentage would include 90 for English, 85 for H.Sc., 72 for Physics and 69 for Biology so your best 4 percentage comes out to be 79%.
You can use DU College predictor tool which will tell you what all colleges you can get based upon your best four percentage :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
See we need to know in which BA Hons. program, you want to enroll because according to it the best four percentage would be calculated.
So let me make you clear how the Best four marks are calculated for admissions :-
Now as you have not mentioned in which BA program you are seeking admission so it is very difficult to tell your best 4 percentage because if you are seeking admission BA hons. in English then best four percentage would be different and if it is in any other then it would differ accordingly. However after reading the process mentioned above you can calculate the best four percentage by yourself.
You can also use DU College predictor tool which will tell you what all colleges you can get based upon your best four percentage :-
Hello, Aspirant. In order to excel at NEET UG and stand out, you need to have clear knowledge of each and every topics of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. However, there are few topics that surely need special attention.
In case of Biology, if you look at previous years' papers, the following (in no particular order) are important when it comes to the zoology section:
Human Physiology (most important)
Human Reproduction (second-most important)
Human Health and Diseases
Evolution
You must avoid neglecting the botany portions because the bulk of the syllabus contains topics related to botany. Hence, most of the questions come from Botany. But there are few topics that need special attention:
Plant Physiology
Ecology
Biomolecules
Biotechnology and Genetics
Biology in Human Welfare

All the best & study well !!!
In a competitive exam like neet every chapter will give you a question. So don't skip any chapter and try to cover all the topics. Although some chapter have extra weightage like genetic and molecular biology and ecology in 12th are most important topics in 12th biology. Like wise every subject have some chapters which carry extra weightage in neet exam.
Hi Aspirant!
You cannot study in both colleges simultaneously, if you get any seat allotted to you during NEET counselling and you accept it, then you need to leave the former college (from where you are pursuing B.Tech Computer Science).
But if you do not get college in which you are interested, I would suggest you to continue with your B.tech as you have already completed its first year.
Thankyou!
