BSC hons in biology with psychology

Akshita Dhiman 10th Aug, 2021

Hi there,

There is no colle in India that offers a combination of this specific course. You might have to pursue either one of them individually. Bsc hons in biology you will learn more about human anatomy of brain, cell and so on.

Psychology on the other hand deals more with mind, behaviour, thoughts and feelings. Psychology itself is a discipline that has wide range of topics.

However, if you want to pursue both of these simultaneously, you could apply in some foreign universities that offer this course. Listed below are a few of them:

  • University of Chester
  • Lancaster University
  • Kelle University
  • University of Illinois
  • York University, etc.

I hope this information helps!

Thank you!

what is my code in NEET. I passed class 12th from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Board. I have PCMB and English in class 12th and PCM(compulsory subject) and Biology (optional subject). I already have filled code 2 . But I am confused between code 2 and 3. which one is appropriate for me.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 9th Aug, 2021
Hi

You are eligible for NEET even if you have studied Biology as an additional /optional subject in your 12th

This is because,

The eligibility of students with Biology as an additional / optional subject is in the supreme court but until it gives its judgement students, these students are eligible for neet.

So, you are eligible if you have Biology as an additional subject provided you must have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least 50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category , or  at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /stcategory.

For detailed information about neet examination go through our page for which link is provided below; -

Coming to codes,

You need to choose the code 2 .

This is because,

You have passed 12th from west Bengal board i. e West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education

And

code 2 says it is for all those who have passed their 10+2/ higher /senior secondary /Indian School Certificate Examinationwith physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English

Here's a short brief of Neet codes :-

--------) Code 1 :- code 1 is for class 12th board 2021 examination appearing students with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.

--------) Code 2 :- code 2 is for all those who have passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology /biotechnology and English

--------) Code 3 :- code 3 says it is for those passed their intermediate / pre- degree examination with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English ,your physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology should also contain practical exam.

--------) Code 4 :- pre - medical degree with Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology after passing hsc i. e 10+2 or puc or equivalent.

--------) Code 5 :- code 5 is for all those who have passed 1 st year graduation with all the three of Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology

--------) Code 6 :- code 6 is for all those students who have passed BSc with at least any two of following subjects :-

if i attempt only biology 50 questions i will pass or not

Supriya Omi 9th Aug, 2021

Hello there!

For getting a good rank and good score one needs to svore not just in biology but chemistry and physics as well.

Just by solving one subject one can't get good college as the competition is very high.

So prepare all the 3 subjects well. No doubt biology is more scoring but yes! Rest 2 are also important as ranking depends on the score obtained in rest two subjects.

Good Luck!

topic wise concept wise studying will be good option or chapter wise studying? for neet biology..1 month left give me some valuable solution

tanishqgiri.goswami 8th Aug, 2021

Hello,

According to me a topic wise revision followed by a chapter wise summary read is one of the best strategies to follow 1 month before the examination.

you should observe yourself and your studying style and customise a study plan which will be the most beneficial for you, as every one has a different plan to tackle so don't blindly follow strategies provided by random sources.

Hope this helps,

All the best !
