If I give my JEE Main & Adv 2024 (with 12th by CBSE), then if I pursue 12th Board through NIOS in 2025 will I be able to get all attempts of JEE again (ie. 3 attempts of Main & 2 attempts of Adv) ??

Hi

hope you doing well

Yes, if you pursue your 12th board through NIOS in 2025 after attempting JEE Main and Advanced in 2024 , you will be eligible to attempt the JEE Main and Advanced exams again.

Attempts for JEE Main:

  • As per the current rules, candidates can attempt JEE Main a total of three times in consecutive years.
  • Since you attempt JEE Main in 2024 , you can attempt it again in 2025 and 2026.

Attempts for JEE Advanced:

  • Candidates are allowed to take JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
  • You can take JEE Advanced in 2024 and, if you qualify, you will still be eligible to take it again in 2025 .

Pursuing your 12th from NIOS in 2025 will not affect your eligibility for JEE Main or Advanced, provided you fulfill the eligibility criteria:

  • You must have completed your 12th board exams or its equivalent with the required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) before the exam date.
  • Ensure that you meet the minimum percentage criteria as specified by NTA and IITs for JEE Advanced.

So, If you take JEE Main and Advanced in 2024 and later complete your 12th through NIOS in 2025 , you will still be eligible for the full number of attempts:

  • 3 attempts for JEE Main (2024, 2025, 2026).
  • 2 attempts for JEE Advanced (2024, 2025).

Hope you find this information usefull

Best Wishes.
