I am in class 11th and I have taken arts stream but my interest is shifting towards commerce stream. Is it possible to take commerce in class 12th in 2025. If it is possible what is the procedure and how to deal with 12th class study

Afreen 24th Dec, 2024

it is possible to switch from the Arts stream in Class 11 to the Commerce stream in Class 12 for the 2025 academic year; however, you will need to consult with your school authorities to understand the specific procedures and potential challenges involved in switching streams, which may require additional coursework to catch up on missed topics in Commerce subjects like Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics And before switching Ensure that your career aspirations align with the Commerce stream before making the switch.

Procedure to switch to Commerce in Class 12:

1.Consult your school:

Speak to your school principal or counselor to discuss your intention to switch streams and inquire about the necessary steps to take.

2.Check eligibility criteria:

Understand if your school has any specific requirements for switching streams, such as minimum grades in relevant subjects.

3.Choose your Commerce subjects:

Select the subjects you want to study in Commerce, which typically include Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and Mathematics (optional).

4.Catch up on missed coursework:

If you haven't studied Commerce subjects in Class 11, you may need to self-study or take additional classes to familiarize yourself with the basics. Switching streams may require extra study time to catch up on missed coursework.

5.Seek guidance from teachers:

Consult with your Commerce teachers for advice on study strategies and important topics.

how can I change my stream from science (pcm) to commerce registration is already done. is there any procedure to change stream directly through cbse as the school authorities are saying that it cannot be changed now but as far I researched it can be change by giving a application to cbse. what will be the procedure to get my stream changed through cbse?

Tanya Gupta 20th Dec, 2024

Hello,

Changing your stream from Science (PCM) to Commerce after CBSE registration requires special approval. While school authorities generally handle stream selection, CBSE may consider such requests if valid reasons are provided. Write an application to your school principal explaining your reason for the change, attaching proof of your research or requirements. If the school denies it, you can escalate the matter by writing directly to CBSE through their regional office, providing the registration details, reasons for the change, and supporting documents.

I WANT TO KNOW THAT WHAT are the subject need in cuet exam i complete my 12th in commerce without maths and i want to persue in bca course

Samprikta Mondal 19th Dec, 2024

If you want to pursue a BCA course through c u e t then you might need to appear for the subjects. first you can choose any language from the list of the languages offered by the CuET. Then the second subject would be the crucial subject for the BCa students which would be the computer science or the information takes practices which covers topics like programming database etc. then you have a section which test your general knowledge current affairs logical reasoning and English comprehension. Though maths is not a mandatory subject for section 2 but if you have a strong foundation and mathematics can be beneficial especially for topics like numerical ability and reasoning general test. Though the universities prefer students with a relevant stream you can get admission if you have a good score in CUET AS THERE is no concrete rule about it. You need to check with university as some university require maths. So choose carefully BCA CUET

is there is commerce branch are there with this like b.com or b.com honors

Shambhavi shambhavi 18th Dec, 2024

Yes, after completing Commerce in Class 11 and 12, you can pursue various undergraduate courses like B.Com or B.Com (Honours). Here’s a brief overview:

1. B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce):

This is a general undergraduate degree that covers subjects like Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, Taxation, and Financial Management.

It can be pursued from universities and colleges with a basic eligibility requirement of completing Class 12 with a Commerce background.

2. B.Com (Honours):

This is a more specialized version of the B.Com course.

It focuses more on subjects like Advanced Accountancy, Finance, Business Economics, and has a more in-depth curriculum compared to the general B.Com.

It's a good choice if you're interested in pursuing a career in accounting, finance, or management.

Both options are available in many universities, and the choice depends on whether you want a more general or specialized kn

owledge of Commerce.
