Hello,

Given that your NDA attempts are over, you can still explore other pathways to join the Indian Air Force as an officer. Here are some options:

1. AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test)

  • Eligibility : For Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches, you need a minimum of 60% in graduation. For Flying and Technical branches, specific criteria apply.
  • Entry Routes : AFCAT allows entry into Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches.

2. CDS (Combined Defence Services) Exam

  • Eligibility : For Air Force Academy, you need a graduate degree (Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or a Bachelor of Engineering.
  • Age Limit : 20 to 24 years.

3. NCC Special Entry

  • Eligibility : Graduates with NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate and other specific criteria.
  • Age Limit : 20 to 24 years.

4. University Entry Scheme (UES)

  • Eligibility : Pre-final year students of engineering degree courses.
  • Age Limit : 18 to 24 years.

Steps to Take:

  1. Complete Graduation : Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria by completing your graduation with the required subjects and percentage.
  2. Prepare for Exams : Start preparing for AFCAT, CDS, or other relevant exams. There are various coaching centers and online resources available.
  3. Physical Fitness : Maintain physical fitness as it is a crucial part of the selection process.

kumardurgesh1802 3rd Aug, 2024

Hello there,

Yes, you can pursue M.Tech in Computer Science even though your B.Tech is in Mechanical Engineering, as long as you qualify for the TS PGECET in Computer Science. Here’s what you need to know:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification : You must have a B.Tech/B.E. degree and have qualified for the TS PGECET in the relevant subject.

  • Stream Change : Many universities allow students to switch streams from B.Tech to M.Tech, but specific eligibility criteria might vary by institution.

    Admission Process

  • Counseling : Participate in the TS PGECET counseling process where you can select Computer Science as your preferred course.

  • Seat Allotment : Seats are allotted based on your TS PGECET rank and the availability of seats in the desired branch.

    Some Tips:

  • Check University Requirements : Some universities might have additional prerequisites or bridge courses for students changing their stream.

  • Document Verification : Ensure you have all required documents, including your B.Tech degree, TS PGECET scorecard, and any additional certifications.

For specific details, refer to the official TS PGECET website and the admission guidelines of the universities you are interested in.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Kct engineering college gulbarga what is the cutoff of 2023 in btech in computer science engineering

Hridaya Rao 15th Sep, 2024
Hello there,

The cutoff for B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at KCT Engineering College, Gulbarga, in 2023, varies depending on the admission category (such as general, OBC, SC/ST, etc.) and the entrance exam rank. For example, in previous years, the cutoff for CSE under the CET (Common Entrance Test) for general category students typically ranged between 20,000 to 40,000 rank.

It is advisable to check the college or KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) website for the most accurate and detailed cutoffs for 2023, as these can fluctuate annually based on the number of applicants and seat availability.
Thankyou. Good luck!

what is the admission proces for btech in computer science 2024?

Prachi Kumari 4th Aug, 2024

Hello,

For admission to B.Tech in Computer Science in 2024, the process generally involves several steps, including entrance exams, application procedures, and counseling sessions. Here's a detailed outline:

Admission Process for B.Tech in Computer Science 2024:

1. Entrance Exams:

The primary entrance exams for B.Tech programs in India include:

  • JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination Main):

    • Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
    • Most engineering colleges, including NITs, IIITs, and some state engineering colleges, consider JEE Main scores.
    • Application: Typically opens in December, with exams held in January and April.
  • JEE Advanced:

    • For admission to IITs, candidates need to qualify JEE Main and then appear for JEE Advanced.
    • Application: Opens after JEE Main results are declared, with the exam usually held in May.
  • State-Level Entrance Exams:

    • Some states conduct their own entrance exams (e.g., WBJEE for West Bengal, KCET for Karnataka, MHT-CET for Maharashtra).
    • Application dates and procedures vary by state.
  • Private University Entrance Exams:

    • Some private universities (like VIT, BITS Pilani, Manipal) conduct their own entrance exams.
    • Application: Typically starts early in the year with exams held in the first half of the year.

2. Application Process:

  • Register for the Entrance Exams:

    • Visit the official websites of the respective exams and complete the registration process.
    • Upload necessary documents, pay the application fee, and submit the form.
  • Appear for the Exams:

    • Download the admit card and appear for the entrance exams on the scheduled dates.

3. Results and Counseling:

  • Result Declaration:

    • Results are usually announced within a few weeks after the exams.
  • Counseling Process:

    • For JEE Main and JEE Advanced, the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) conducts the counseling process.
    • For state-level exams, state authorities conduct their own counseling sessions.
    • For private universities, individual institutions conduct their own counseling.

4. Seat Allocation:

  • Choice Filling:

    • During counseling, candidates fill in their preferred colleges and courses based on their entrance exam ranks.
    • Seat allocation is done based on rank, preferences, and availability.
  • Document Verification:

    • Candidates need to provide original documents for verification.
    • Documents typically include admit card, rank card, mark sheets, identity proof, and category certificate (if applicable).
  • Fee Payment:

    • Once a seat is allocated, candidates must pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.

Important Documents:

  • Admit card and rank card of entrance exams.
  • Class 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates.
  • Transfer certificate and character certificate from the previous institution.
  • Passport-size photographs.

How marks get to receive computer science

Ishita 23rd Aug, 2024

Hello Aspirant

I'm assuming you are a 12th-grade student who has appeared for their 10th grade and wants to take PCM with Computer Science.

Every school has different eligibility criteria for the science stream. For example, in my school, students who got an 8.0 CGPA (~76%) and above, were the ones who were awarded science stream. And if you have science as your stream, you can choose Computer Science or Information Practice.

Similarly, even your school will have some internal criteria in 10th grade for which you must ask your teachers.

Hope this helps

Mujhe computer science lene ke liye Kitna marks ki jarurat padegi

Ishita 23rd Aug, 2024

Hello Aspirant

Computer Science is a subject that you can opt for if you have a science stream in 11th grade. And for the science stream, you will need at least 75% to 80% of minimum percentage. If you have it, you will be able to choose Computer Science as your 5th subject (along with Physics, Chemistry, Math/Biology, and English/or any other language that your school offers).

To be more clear and specific, kindly talk to your school teachers or administration about their requirements because every school has certain internal criteria for admission into different streams (Science. Commerce, or Humanities).

Hope this helps
