Hi, a cuet aspirant here and I want to pursue english honours in Delhi University. Will I be an eligible candidate if I appear for English test and 4 domain tests (Psychology, History, Sociology, EVS) instead of General Test? Also,do I need to appear for General Test for Socio Hons or Psycho Hons?

Mitali Sharma 2nd Dec, 2024

Hello

For admission to English Honours in Delhi University (DU) CUET , you will need to appear for the English Language Test as well as a relevant domain specific subject.

If you choose Psychology , History , Sociology and EBS as your domain subjects, you should be eligible to apply for English Honours , as long as you meet the CUET eligibility requirements for those subjects .

For Sociology Honours and Pyschology Honours , you generally need to appear for the General Test along with the specific domain subject tests . The General Test is required for various courses unless otherwise specified by the program  as it assesses general knowledge and reasoning abilities .
