on 10 th how many years to complete Diploma

Samprikta Mondal 14th Nov, 2024

Standard Duration of a Diploma Course

The standard duration of a diploma course in India is after 10th standard that is two years, but the courses may vary in their duration and can be offered by different institutions as well.

Factors Which Can Affect the Duration

Course Intensiveness: In fact, some diploma courses have longer or shorter courses, and this can mainly be due to the fact that some courses are more intensive, and in others, the courses can be quite comprehensive.

Mode of Study: Full-time courses have shorter periods of study compared to part-time or distance learning classes.

Diploma Institutional Policies differ based on the institution that prescribes the running period of the course.

As a result, it is advisable to get as much information about the duration of a certain diploma course from the institution or the provider of that course.

I have scored above 55 marks in physics and chemistry but my marks in maths is 54 ..the aggregate of pcm will be above 55% ... Am i eligible for jmi btech

Shrutika Wahane 17th Aug, 2024

Hello there,

Admission to JMI (Jamia Milia Islamia) in the course of B.Tech is through national level exam for engineering that's JEE MAIN. As per the rules of JEE MAIN, a student must've scored 75% in class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. As you've scored less than 75% (General Category), you are not eligibile for JEE MAIN. You can appear for improvement exam to increase your percentage in class 12th.

I hope this information will help you.

wrongly filled eligibility state as per aadhar card, not as per 12th admit card, in josaa counseling. How to edit or ammend?

Nitin Kumar 11th Jun, 2024

It seems you cannot directly edit your state of eligibility after registration.

  • Reach out to the JoSAA helpline or email them as soon as possible. Explain the situation clearly - that you mistakenly entered your state of eligibility based on your Aadhar card instead of your 12th admit card.

  • Provide them with your registration details and necessary documents (copies of Aadhar card, 12th admit card, etc.) to support your case.

  • Ask if there is any way to rectify the mistake or if there is a correction window open.

  • In the best-case scenario, if there is a correction window open or the authorities allow it on a case-by-case basis, they might be able to rectify your state of eligibility.

  • If correction isn't possible, they might explain how the chosen state of eligibility will impact your seat allocation (e.g., seat cancellation, ineligibility for state quota seats).

    I hope it helps!

my gate score is 438 obc civil engineering, can i get any iit?

Afreen 23rd Sep, 2024

It is quite difficult to get admission in civil engineering IIT through this gate score as the cutoff is going high every year. If you have scored this marks in your first attempt, assuming you don't have any financial constraints, it's worth give another try next year. Even in worst case scenario you got this score valid for next 3 years. All the best
