MA Geography Entrance Test conducted in JNU consists of 100 marks, out of this 60 marks is for objective question, and the remaining 40 marks belong to subjective questions which consists of diagrams and practice maps.
Unit I (60 marks) Multiple Choice Questions on : 1. Geomorphology, climatology, oceanography and biogeography. 2. Human geography, economic geography, political geography, Population geography, human ecology and human settlements. 3. Regional geography of India- physiographic divisions, patterns and levels of development of agriculture and industries, growth of population, urbanization, and socio-culture diversity. 4. Geographical information System, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Quantitative Techniques/Statistics.
Unit II (20 marks) - Short Questions on Physical, human regional geography and geography of India.
Unit III (10 marks) - Question on Cartography, scale and map projections, topographical maps of India, Methods of data representation Unit IV (10 marks) - Question on Statistical Methods – frequency distribution, measures of central tendency and dispersion, Correlation.

Dear Akhil, The questions will be of Multiple Choice type. Part 1 will have questions from Mathematics and Science at 10+2 level. So you have to prepare accordingly. May be NCERT books will help you. Part 2 will have questions in the areas of Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Botany and Zoology at Graduate level. So you have to read the relevant books at Graduation level. Jawaharlal Nehru College Placement test (JNUEE) test will be led from May 11 to May 14, 2020. JNUEE alongside JNU CEEB will be led by the National Testing Organization (NTA), this year. Till 2018, Jawaharlal Nehru College (JNU) led both JNUEE and JNU CEEB tests.
JNUEE test is currently called Jawaharlal Nehru College Passage Test (JNUET).
NTA will direct JNUET 2020 as a PC based test (CBT). JNUEE is directed to offer admission to applicants in undergrad and postgraduate projects offered by it.
While filling the application structure for JNU confirmations competitors can select to show up in the passageway test for a limit of three courses arranged by their inclination. Eligibility Criteria for Environmental Science in JNU is Candidate should have done B.Sc. degree or equivalent in any branch of basic or applied science under 10+2+3 pattern of education or B.E./B.Tech/MBBS with at least 55% marks.

Entrance Syllabus is as follows-
Question paper will be of objective type and include questions in two parts. Part 1: Includes questions from Science and Mathematics of 10+2 standard. Part 2: Includes questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology, Botany and Zoology at B.Sc. level.
There are 100 questions with a negative marking scheme too in the examination.
