Prachi Pant 23rd Jan, 2021

Hello student,

The eligibility criteria to get admission in life science / Zoology / Microbiology course is determined by your PCB percentage of class 12th. In this, only science score percentage is taken into consideration (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). English will not be included here.

Is Manipal better than Amity in terms of researches in Life Sciences? what if I prefer Amity?

Garvit gaud 13th Aug, 2020

Hello aspirant,

I think Amity will be better because it has facilities which focuses on researches as compared to Manipal. Even Amity is a very good college in terms of life sciences. It is because Amity focuses on lots of researches and more than 1200 patents are registered by their teachers and even more than 100 patents are registered by the students every year as compared to other universities. So definitely Amity is a better option.

I hope this peace of information will help you

All the best

Which one has a better job scope in India: B.Sc in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology or life sciences?

Smeet Almeida 20th Jun, 2020

Greetings, aspirant!

All of the fields that you've mentioned are good in their own way. It depends on your aptitude and preferences. These factors determine which course will be better for you.

Most of these courses can help you build a career as a research analyst, food safety analyst, research scientist, biomedical Scientist etc. Many of the subjects of such courses are related in various ways.

The pay for graduates of these courses generally lie between 2-5LPA but these numbers are liable to change depending on one's experience, posting, organization, knowledge base etc.

Most people opt for a post graduate course such as an MSc after graduating as this helps their future career prospects. You can even go for a PhD if you wish to focus on the research aspects of the field. Some people opt to become professors as well.

Hope this information helps.

Best of luck!!

basically I want to pursuing M.sc in environmental science ; Can I applicable to be an aspirant on csir net Life sciences ?!?

Pompi Bhadra 21st May, 2020

Hello Aspirant!

As Environmental science incorporates many aspects of Life Sciences in it, you can appear in CSIR-NET Life Science. But you will have to do a lot of extra hard work for CSIR-NET exam preparation apart from completing your post-graduate syllabus. The syllabus varies largely. If you are willing to pursue M.Sc. in Environmental Science, you should go for UGC-NET Environmental Sciences keeping in view the syllabus. It will be more helpful to you as per my knowledge.

I hope this answer will help you.
