King Mahendrawarman wrote the "Mathhavilasa prakasanam" and "Bhagwatha Ajjikiyam", hence, experiencing growth of Sanskrit language and literature. The capital city during their reign, Kanchi was the renowned learning center for Sanskrit. Kavyadharsha, a tamil book was written by Dhandind.
