hello myself Sohel tadvi . i got 49.55 percentile in MHA CET MCA but i belong to ST category. CAN I GET ANY GOVT. COLLEGE AND ALSO MY ( GENERAL MERIT LIST NUMBER IS 88)

monag2673 9th Aug, 2024

With a 49.55 percentile in MHA CET MCA and belonging to the ST category, there's a good chance of securing admission to a government college in Maharashtra.

The ST category often has lower cutoffs compared to the general category, increasing your chances of getting a seat. However, the exact college you can get depends on factors like:

  • Number of seats available for ST category: This varies across colleges.
  • Cutoffs for previous years: Analyze past trends to estimate this year's cutoffs.
  • Competition within the ST category: A higher rank within the category can improve your chances.

Your general merit list number of 88 might not be relevant for securing a government seat under the ST category. Focus on your ST category rank and cutoff trends.

It's essential to participate in the counseling process and exercise your options carefully.

hope this helps you!!

Which MBA colleges should I target? MHA MBA CET - 77 Percentile CAT - 55 Percentile ST Category Open Home University

Akansha Sharma 3rd Dec, 2024

With an MHA MBA CET score of 77 percentile and CAT 55 percentile, you can target Tier 2 and Tier 3 colleges within your home university, as you fall under the ST category. Prioritize colleges like PUMBA (University of Pune), JBIMS (if cutoff relaxations apply), or other state-level institutes offering category-based seats. Explore DTE Maharashtra’s centralized admission process (CAP) for better options. Focus on institutes with strong placement records and specializations matching your career goals.

With your 77 percentile in MHA MBA CET and 55 percentile in CAT, consider targeting mid-range MBA colleges that accept CET scores. For MHA MBA CET, you can explore colleges like Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT), D.Y. Patil University, or Indira Institute of Management. You could also look into regional colleges or state-level institutions that offer good value for your score. Focus on those with specific management programs suited to your interests.

Dear Aspirant!

I can help you explore master's courses in the field of healthcare management. Here are some steps you can take:

1. Research Master's Programs:

Look for Master's in Hospital Management (MHA) or Bachelor of Hospital Administration (BHA) programs offered by reputable universities.

2. Check Eligibility Criteria:

Review the eligibility requirements for these programs, ensuring that your BSc degree aligns with the admission criteria.

3. Application Process:

Understand the application process, including required documents, deadlines, and any entrance exams if applicable.

4. Explore Universities:

Research universities that offer these courses, considering factors such as faculty reputation, course curriculum, and placement opportunities.

5. Financial Considerations:

Evaluate the cost of the program, available scholarships, and financial aid options.

6. Connect with Alumni:

Reach out to alumni or current students of these programs to gain insights into the learning experience and career prospects.

7. Visit Campus or Attend Virtual Events:

If possible, visit the campuses or attend virtual events to get a feel for the environment and gather more information.

8. Application Submission:

Once you've chosen a program and university, complete the application process by submitting all required documents and fees.

9. Prepare for Interviews (if required):

Some programs may require an interview as part of the admission process, so be prepared for that.

10. Stay Updated:

Keep an eye on communication from the universities and be proactive in following up on your application status.

Remember to take your time, thoroughly research each aspect, and make informed decisions based on your career goals and preferences.
