Hello Aspirant,
A pathologist, a medical professional who specialises in pathology, would be in charge of the microbiology department of a pathology lab, maybe a pathologist with additional training in microbiology. A microbiologist is qualified to work in a lab that examines human samples and has at least a bachelor's degree in the field.
Since the basic eligibility requirements state that you must complete MBBS from an accredited institution in order to pursue an MD or MS, you must first complete MBBS in order to pursue an MD in pathology. You cannot pursue an MD in pathology after earning a BSc in microbiology. You can, however, pursue an MSc or Master of Science. The MSc programme offers a number of specialties, including Applied Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology, Medical Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and others. Once you earn your Master's, you will have access to a variety of employment prospects. In industries including pharmaceutical firms, chemical workshops, the food industry, laboratories, research labs, private clinics, etc., you can find employment. You can pursue a PhD after earning your MSc because microbiology has a wide range of research opportunities.
Hello Ayush
You can go for MSc course i.e in zoology, botany, chemistry. This is the normal route which students opt. Another route is to go with an MBA.
I hope this answers your question.
Thanks
A bachelor's degree is the bare minimum requirement for the majority of IT jobs. Computer science, information technology, information technology management, and computer engineering are all topics of study in this subject. Information technology system analysis is one of the more popular study topics.
However, if you have the required skills for the particular job post and experience on the same, recruiters might consider you for the post. All you need is skills to thrive on the field. You can also opt for diploma courses in IT technology which will enhance your skills and help you to get a job in the field. Hope this helps, thank you
Hello aspirant,
Bsc life sciences is a rich course all together. But as per salary, you have higher chances in Biotechnology as it is a budding field now with growing industries. Also Msc Chemistry people have good chances in getting into RnD department directly.
Dear aspirant,
The difficulty of a course is heavily dependent on the interest of the person who is pursuing the course. If you are interested in microbiology and biology in general, you will find it easy.
Generally, you will have the time to pursue another course in the side only if you aren't looking for opportunities in microbiology after graduation. For getting a job/higher studies opportunities in microbiology, you will have to do more than just the coursework. You might have to look for internship opportunities, industry internship opportunity, research work, extra lab work, additional research articles reading.
If that's not what you want to do, then yes, you can do something else in the side while pursuing BSc microbiology and meeting the course requirements decently.
Following career path after BSc Microbiology :
Good Luck!!
Yes you can. you can open your own lab after completing your bsc Microbiology course. Bsc microbiologist can open his own laboratory , like blood test and other test. You can do your Msc as soon as possible. candidate who has completed B.Sc. in Clinical Biochemistry/Medical Biochemistry or B.Sc in Clinical Microbiology/Medical Microbiology are eligible to join for M.Sc MLT in Clinical Biochemistry or M.Sc MLT in Microbiology and Immunology respectively. You have to have relavant skills and training. Also you can try doing some certificate courses for a safety. It would be better if you have a Msc in microbiology.
Here is a list of some certifications
Certification in Laboratory Technology
Certification in Medical Laboratory Technology
Certification in Blood Bank Technology
Certification in Clinical Diagnostic Techniques
Certification in ECG Technology
Certification in Medical Record Technology
Certification in Cath Lab Technology
Hope this helps.
Hope you are doing great. The study of microscopic living things that can only be seen under a microscope, such as bacteria, fungi, viruses, algae, etc., is known as microbiology. Microbiologists can assist in the development of drugs, vaccines, antibiotics, and other treatments that are extremely important in the modern world by studying these microbes. Because there are so many job opportunities in this field, students are becoming more and more interested in the subject.
