The study of tiny creatures is known as microbiology. Pure and applied sciences can be used to categorise its branches. fields include bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, and virology, among others. A microbiologist's job is to look into the development, growth, and other traits of tiny organisms like bacteria, fungus, or algae. Medical microbiologists research the connection between pathogens and organisms, as well as how antibiotics affect microbes.

They both have rewarding work alternatives. You must select the one that most interests you. Radiologists are occasionally in demand due to the increased quantity of tests for improved inspection. Microbiologists do independent research.

which is the best subject among biotechnology and microbiology?

hope ou are doing good

B.Sc Biotechnology and B.Sc Microbiology both courses are good. But to be more specific B.Sc Biotechnology has more career opportunities than B.Sc Microbiology. In fact, in B.Sc Biotechnology, the topics are interlinked to Microbiology are covered.B.Sc Biotechnology focuses on Industrial area, management etc. Where as, B. Sc Microbiology is precised, confined and case study oriented. So you can go for B.Sc Biotechnology course if you are interested in it and want more job opportunities.

what can i do if didnt get selected in any college in mumbai for msc after doing bsc microbiology

Nisha yadav 13th Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant,

A graduate degree in microbiology can provide you opportunities in other sectors also like private and government hospitals, technicians in private laboratories, forensic science laboratories, environmental management organizations, educational institutions, the food processing industry, etc.

But if you don't want to pursue a job and want to study further then look for colleges that don't take an entrance test then you can get direct admission to MSC. Private colleges don't take entrance tests.

You had a nice subject in BSC but was not a vast subject so you faced the problems. You can continue further in the research field.

Thank you
