Can we exit BALLB course (of 5 years) after the third year and get a degree equal to bachelors degree according to the NEP 2020 multiple exit policy?

Arhana Chakraborty 14th Feb, 2022

See the National Education Policy 2020, isn't applied fully to the educational system. So it might occur that you won't be able to exit the course after 3 years of BA LLB. As it's a integrated course, it would be applicable that with completion of the entire tenure you won't get the degree. So before taking admission, it would be better for you to clear the terms and condition form the Institution itself.

I hope this helps. Wish you a very productive evening!

maaztauquir24 13th Feb, 2022

Hi reader ,

major recommendations of NEP 2020 for school education are :

The current 10+2 system in the school will be replaced by a new 5+3+3+4 curricular structure corresponding to ages 3-8, 8-11, 11-14, and 14-18 years respectively.

As per the New Education Policy teaching up to at least Grade 5 will be in mother tongue or regional language. No language will be imposed on any student.

no hard separations between arts and sciences, between curricular and extra-curricular activities, between vocational and academic streams, etc. in order to eliminate harmful hierarchies among, and silos between different areas of learning.

i hope this helps
