There is no such mention in the proposed policy of NEP if that's what you'e referring as in no recognition in courses being pursued through distance mode, if that was the case then by now admission won't be taking place in IGNOU as of now, see the world today

In the new education policy the rules are changed and they are yet to announce them. Till then nothing can be said. As of now, there may be changes in the major as per NEP. Once they formulate the rules then only anything can be said on this.
See some of the changes like this are going to account but its not made clear till now. The Education Policy in new printed form will be enforced and after the enforcement of the policy all the rules will be applicable. So anything for confirm can't be said but yeah!
