Hello Aspirant,

Yes you will be eligible for admission on the basis of JEE-main score in the prominent institutions like NITs/IIITs or even for JEE-Advance if you get 75%
or more marks in 10+2 from NIOS even if it is by the TOC because then your final result will be considered that of NIOS not that of earlier board.

For your reference, JEE-Main eligibility criteria is mentioned below :-

1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.

2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.

3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2023 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2021, 2022 or 2023; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 20223 would be eligible to appear.

So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.

Hello sir, I have gived my 12th examination from NIOS In result they show my absent in one of my subject even after I attend the exam result will be updated soon within 1 week NIOS board says. can I upload my current result with AB in one subject for nchmct jee seat allotment to save the seat

Sohamsengupta8 19th Jul, 2022

Hello Student

  1. Unless the NIOS Council announce their final result for 12th class examination as you are a candidate for that you have to wait and see the situation. If there is problem in their publishing of result of you then you will contact with the authority of NIOS and upload your actual result you have achieved in your 12th class examination. Let them publish their result of class 12 after publishing their result of  class 12 in which you are a candidate no steps should be taken by  you as you were a candidate for the same. Then you may upload your actual result in anyway.

Hope this helps.
