Yes, you can become a doctor after you have completed GNM course. You will have to pursue MBBS in order to become a doctor. The process is simple, you have to fill the application form for NEET UG and prepare and work hard to clear thebcut off of a good medical college (government college, preferably). Since there is no upper age limit to appear for NEET UG, you won't face as much problems.

Firstly talking about the eligibility, The minimum eligibility criteria for pursuing this course is the successful completion of 10+2 level of education in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.Coming to your question, yes male candidates can get admission in MSC nursing .

Now many hospital are asking for male nurse . So it's a good career opportunity for male candidates. male nurses are primarily appointed in psychiatry, Operation Theatre, Male wards or emergency wards etc. Average starting salary ranges from INR 2-5 Lakhs. The average course fee ranges from INR 20,000 to 1.5 Lakhs per year.

ANM refers to Auxiliary Nursing Midwife, whereas, GNM refers to General Nursing Midwife. The two are the diploma programmes.

Hello aspirant,

No, you are not eligible for pursuing B.Sc Nursing. It is because candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam in science stream with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognised Board or College.

As you are Arts student you cannot study B.Sc Nursing. As you have completed your BA course, further you can study courses like

  • Master of Arts
  • Master of Business Administration
  • LLB
  • Post Graduation Diploma in Management, etc.

Bachelor of Education, etc.
