Hello aspirant,
In CLAT Logical Reasoning is one of the important sections to prepare for and nonverbal reasoning comes under the Logical section. It has a 20% weight age in CLAT question papers and aims to test the comprehension and reasoning skills of the candidate.
This section will have questions related to syllogism, blood relations, identifying patterns, logical links, and rectifying illogical arguments.

Hello,
You are asking a question for an exam which is considered to be one of the top Law entrance exams. Everything is equally important but being smart has its own place in the exam. So here I am listing some important topics for CLAT exam though every topic is important because you never know what surprise might show up and it might be from the topic which you left. Here is the list-
1. Syllogisms
2.Arrangements
3.Puzzles
4. Coding-Decoding
5. Seating Arrangement
6. Assumption based questions
7. Number series
NOTE- This list is not exhaustive. For a exam like CLAT nothing should be left out.
Hope this helps.

Dear Roshini,
According to the new CLAT pattern introduced in 2020, there is no fixed syllabus for logical reasoning. It has become more of an aptitude based exam .
Logical reasoning section now contains several 450 word paragraphs followed by five multiple choice questions based on each paragraph .
Therefore, instead of focusing on chapters which do not exist, just try practicing mocks, sample papers, and previous year question papers (especially from 2020, 2021 and 2022). You must also develop an above average reading speed as logical reasoning questions are paragraph based usually of 450 words.
Please go through this link to see the questions from logical reasoning:

I hope this helps! Best of luck!
Dear Rohini,
According to the new pattern of CLAT introduced in 2020, it is only verbal reasoning that is part of the syllabus .
You can expect to get several 450 word paragraph and multiple choice logical reasoning question based on that paragraph. Logical reasoning is an integral part of legal education. To practice for this section you may want to read newspapers every day to increase your reading speed and solve Previous Year Question Papers and mocks.
Please go through this link and see the questions from the logical reasoning section after 2020:
You can also try logical reasoning section of exams like LNAT, LSAT or GMAT.
Best of luck! I hope this helps!
