Follow the below tips to prepare well for your Neet 2022 examination with the help of self study :-

-------------------------)  First of all you need to know the syllabus . Your neet syllabus is basically the ncert class 11 and 12th syllabus of physics, chemistry and biology. To get the complete syllabus visit https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-syllabus/amp and while the studying the chapters, your major focus should be on understanding the concepts .

The top books which you can follow for the preparation of your NEET  examination  are provided below:-

-------------------------) Practice questions:- after finishing each chapter you should practice numericals and mcqs .You should practise at least 80 to100 numericals and mcqs in Each chapter to master concepts so that you can solve numericals and MCQs easily.

-------------------------)  Short breaks :- take short breaks in between your studies, studying continuously can be brain tiring and it becomes difficult to focus and study with concentration, so take breaks to relax and refresh your brain.

-------------------------)  Make short notes:- You should make chapterwise short notes for each chapter and it should contain all the important concepts and formulas. These short notes will be a great revision tool for your examination.

-------------------------)  Set  goals :- set daily goals like I have to cover these many topics today, weekly goals like I have to  cover these chapters this week and  solve their mcqs too by the end of this week and similarly set monthly goals to cover the syllabus and meet them without any fail.

-------------------------)  Follow a routine or timetable :- you can make a routine and religiously follow it and try to give at least 8 hours to study each day in your routine.

  • PHYSICS is the  toughest part for most of the medical aspirants  as it has both numericals and concepts to deal with ,so keep at least 3 hours each day for physics

  • In Chemistry you have to deal with reactions and learn them and solve questions as well, so give at least 2.5 hours to Chemistry

  • In biology you have to read, learn and revise again and again, so keep around 2.5 hours for Biology.

-------------------------) Revise:-  revise your concepts,  formulas etc at regular intervals  . Revision is very important otherwise as you move forward in your syllabus, you start forgetting the concepts you have learned before and you won't be able to perform well in your examination.

-------------------------) Solve previous year NEET question  :- Solving previous year questions will let you know the examination pattern, type of questions asked in the exam and difficulty level of questions, also concepts  of the questions often gets repeated so it will be of great help to you . You can get previous year papers at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-question-papers

--------------------------) Go through NEET mock test papers :- Once you are done with your complete syllabus solve mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level .After solving each mock test paper, analyse yourself which will help you to know your weak areas /topics  so that you can work on them and them strong so that you can perform well in your examination.

Shivanshu 21st Nov, 2021

Dear aspirant !

Hope you are doing great ! I think dummy school will not be a correct option because if we see JEE history then we find a lot of students who managed JEE and even crack it with a good rank with their schooling ,so you don't need to worry firstly finish the syllabus which is in class 11 and then come to 12. So you just need to beleive in yourself.

Hope it helps you !!

Thanks!!

Feel free to ask more query dear!!

which is better self study or coaching in neet

Aniket Das 16th Nov, 2021

Hello aspirant,

If you are someone who likes to follow your own routine and go with the flow then, self-study might be the best option. Coaching institutes provide a fixed schedule and a study plan which will be followed for the next 6-12 months. This option is also favourable for the majority of the students.

if I work hard and do self study for the subjects biology and chemistry and go to tution for the subject physics can I score above 675 marks in neet

piyush263001 31st Oct, 2021

Hello,

The very first thing you need to know that if you wish to score 675 marks or you make any target, you first have to believe in yourself that you can do it.

Now coming to the preparation part . NCERT biology is enough for the NEET examination. If a student has in-depth knowledge of topics in NCERT Biology then he can easily score 360/360 in biology. One must read NCERT line by line and must never avoid any concept.

• Chemistry portion also is very much from NCERT only. Questions from inorganic chemistry are directly asked from NCERT. So if one can memorise all the reactions and the other concepts one can score very good marks in chemistry.

• Physics is the subject that most NEET aspirant find difficult. So practice as much as you can in Physics and clear each and every basic concept of this subject.

Also practice questions regularly and give mock tests. Analyze your test and also mistakes you made so yo don't repeat them. And work hard and smart and you will reach you goal.

can I score good marks in neet if I daily take 3 hrs of coaching from a physics teacher and do self study

piyush263001 27th Oct, 2021

Hello,

NEET examination is the only examination for admission in MBBS, BDS courses in the most prestigious Medical Colleges in India. So if one has an aim to make into their Dream Colleges then he/she shouldn't left any stones unturned in order to achieve their target.

Yes, self study is very important for NEET examination. And if you feel the need for coaching to boost your concept of Physics, you must definitely go for it. One thing an aspirant must keep in mind that he has to work hard to crack the exam successfully.

Now students also need to do smart work along with hardwork for success in NEET examination. They can do so but following few of the below mentioned ways-

• NEET aspirants must read line by line the Biology NCERT. It is more than sufficient to do NCERT biology for biology preparation as around 330-340 marks worth questions are asked directly from NCERT.

• For inorganic Chemistry too, One has to revise NCERT line by line to get clear concepts and reactions.

• Also one must solve Previous year questions as much as possible as many times questions are repeated.

• Make shortcuts and mnemonics to revise things quickly.

I am an above average student preparing for jee without coaching , is coaching compulsory , i cant afford the 2 lkh fees , please give me some tips for self.study and which youtube channel is best for jee adv preparation because i always struggle in choosing 1 best channel.

Prakhar 6th Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirants,

Hope you doing well, well lavisha there is no necessity for the coaching and the coaching only helps you to guide and helps you to solve the problem and make the answers easier to understand now a days all the stuffs are on internet after all of you join the coaching and still you are not solving the question by your own then there will be no outcome you have to give time in coaching then school then you will get no time for self study so there are some advantages of coaching and disadvantages of coaching jee is that test which is only qualified by those who have actually solved those toughest questions so yeah at the end you have to do self study to bring good marks in it so you can go with youtube there are several platforms like physics wallah, unacademy, vedanti and many more so I should say that if you don't want to go for the coaching you should buy a course of physics wallah there are several batches which are going on like in my time there was a lakhsya batch , yakeen batch and many more so just figure it out which batch you belongs and they really take a small amount for those batches so you can join that and from there you can get a feeling of coaching and side by side you will get enough time for self study
