pdwords Student Expert 1st Jun, 2021
Hello,

CLAT is conducted for two hours carrying 150 MCQs, each question is for one mark, and 0.25 mark is deducted for each incorrect attempt. It consists of sections such ascomprehension-based questions from Quantitative Techniques, English, Current Affairs, Deductive Reasoning and Logical Reasoning sections.

There is still more than a year to go for CLAT 2022, so you have to balance both your studies as well as preparation so that none of any is neglected in that sense.

You can start off with making a timetable, be acquainted with paper pattern and syllabus which you can check out at https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2021/ug-syllabus.html and devote time to each section accordingly.

For General Knowledge and Current Affairs, you can go through magazines such as Pratiyogita Darpan, the best way to deal with dynamic portion is reading newspaper on a daily basis ,you can choose The Hindu or The Indian Express. For static GK part, you can use Lucent's GK. Also, you can search in Internet there are many competitive exam sites which have compiled this in an organized manner pertaining to different subjects.

For Aptitude, you can use Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning by A P Bhardwaj or Legal Awareness and Legal Reasoning by Pearson.

For Logical Reasoning, you can use any reasoning book such as Analytical Reasoning by M K Pandey or even Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning by RS Agarwal. try to get your concepts clear first and then practice in a steady manner.

For Elementary Mathematics with Numerical Ability, use Quantitative Aptitude by RS Aggarwal, you can also use NCERTs book to build the basic concepts.

For Language Comprehension, you can use Wren and Martin for grammar, and Norman Lewis's Word Power Made Easy to build vocabulary, also reading editorials section of The Hindu and The Indian Express will help you immediately to grasp the comprehension part along with enriching your vocabulary.

At last visit the official website at https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/ to know more details regarding question paper format, sample paper and other such important aspects related to preparation of CLAT.

I will qualify jee advanced with desired rank means 3 digit rank if I start from today but I will ready to. work hard and 14-16 hrs daily but I am doing self study

ayanmukherjee045 20th May, 2021

Dear aspirant,

It is definitely possible if you badly want to crack jee advanced. But note this as the time is not important that if you will study 14-16 hrs only then you will crack the exam. It is not like that. You have to study the right thing and also along with that you have to do smart work. It is important to strategize your work smartly rather blindly studying for 14-16 hrs.

Make a list of the topics which you think you need to work upon. As an easy question should not be skipped if it comes from here. Prepare yourself atleast upto the level in these topics that a basic or easy question can be answered by you.

Likewise also practice jee advanced previous years papers thoroughly to find out the mistakes that you are making while answering the paper.

For practice papers you can check out the link given below-

do i need to join any coaching for iaf group y exam preparation?? or self study is enough ??

Atif Ali 18th Apr, 2021

Hello,

First of All, Syllabus for Indian Air Force Group Y exam is vast and deep. But still I would say you don't need to join any coaching for this. There are number of educational videos (related to topics like English language, Reasoning and Current Affairs), on YouTube which is available for free and they have explained ever topic in Very easy way.

If you study while being focused and with full dedication then you don't need to join any coaching. Moreover, YouTube creators aslo launches series for Group Y exams, so you will get complete knowledge from there. You can their luve classes as well, so why need coaching? You will only waste your energy and time if you will join any coaching in future.

Remember, you will get only 45 minutes for this exam, so don't only focus to cover every portion, try to solve Questions as fast as possible, your speed matters a lot in this examination.

Good Luck.

if i have a good coaching with great study material and dpps which books i should follow for self study for jee Advanced

anirudha vats 12th Apr, 2021

Hey,

The key factor to outshine or achieve good score in any exam is the Self Study. No matter how good the coaching and it's materials are if you don't do self study it's all in vain. You need to be focused and keep on practising on regular basis.

It's always said that it's better to study one book multiple times rather than reading many books. Try to follow the same thing. Read the materials or the books you find yourself comfortable with. If you understand the material of you coaching well you should go for that only.

Stick to one and practice as more as possible.

Hope that helps.

All the best.

Thank you
