Hello Anushka,
A short answer to your query is, no it is not okay. You should try to go with the class. I am not discouraging you to practice but try to go with your class. You should prepare all the chapters to a basic level for now.
Some tips to be at pace with your teacher:
If you just follow the above-mentioned points, you can go with the class smoothly. Now, on holidays you should practice more and more questions. Even if you get a single day off, use it to solve questions. Use dussehra holidays, diwali holidays to practice questions. Once your coaching finishes the syllabus, you will also be done and you will be in a good position to take up the exam. If you have time left for JEE after your coaching is over, solve PYQs and give tests regularly. After that, you will be thorough with your preparation.

Choosing what to do after completing schooling can be a daunting decision. This decision can significantly affect your entire future. Both BBA and B.Com are two of the most popular undergraduate degree programmes amongst students, especially those from commerce background.
As per my knowledge, BBA and B.Com. are both three-year undergraduate courses. The eligibility required is 10+2 in both cases. Due to their basic similarities, students find it difficult to choose from them.
BBA or Bachelor of Business Administration focuses on the studies related to management. The course equips the students with managerial skills, marketing knowledge and related expertise required to get a job in some of the leading organizations.
If I talk about B.Com. or Bachelors of Commerce, it opens the opportunity for the students to get a hold on accountancy, banking, retailing, taxation, media communication etc. You have to decide which course you want to pursue.
I will be advise you to do your degree from Geeta University which is a well known university and that provides prime placement opportunity, outstanding exposure and professional enhancement training.

hope you are doing well
see there are two conditions.....
if you are in government college and if you do any small mistake, u have a bad reputation infront of teachers then they might failed you they will not give you enough marks in practical or in theory exams. small mistakes in theory they will cut your whole answer.
and if you are in private college then they will try hard to not fail you cause you are the source of income for them. so in private generally they don't failed you but if you are too poor in study and you have a bad reputation infront of teachers then may be there is a chance that they can fail you or they will give you poor marks.
hope this is helpful for you
best of luck for your future
