Telecommunication
Hello,
I would prefer VJTI irrespective of any branch I would've got. If you are really interested in the course then you should go for Electronics and Telecommunications branch. But as far as the brand name is concerned VJTI is always the best. All the best for your future endeavors.
Thank you!
Hi,
College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) offers a four-year BTech programme at the UG level. Admission to BTech programme is based on MHT CET score, followed by MHT CET Counselling, which is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai. In year 2020 the cutoff of general category for electronic and telecommunications engineering is 99.74 percentile till second round. While in year 2019 the cutoff is 99.84 percentile. Coep is very good college and its cutoff goes high every year. Electronics and telecommunications engineering is also good branch.
Hope it helps.
Hello aspirant,
With the above mentioned rank and percentile , it is very difficult for you to get any admission seat in any of the government colleges - NITs, GFTIS, IIITs .
Although you might get a seat as per your Home quota OR you can also go for any private colleges - Choice is Yours.
You can also check college predictor tool to know your chances in other colleges according to your rank/percentile :

I hope that this will help .
As you completed diploma in electronic and telecommunications engineering after that for admission in direct second year admission of BE In college of Engineering, Pune , you have to participate in the DTE Maharashtra Counselling for admission in dsy B.E. This process is same like mhtcet Counselling to get admission be or btech first year. 15 percent Seats are reserved for dsy students. Participate in the Counselling and put coep in options of college ,if you have cutoff Score of coep you can get it.
I hope you are doing fine, You can go for further studies like B.Tech/B.E which will be of 4 years course and if you choose this one then this will be helping you to enhance your knowledge about particular branch which will be good for your career growth. But if you don't want to go for further studies then you can do some short term courses which lasts around 4-6 months.
You can purse some short term courses like - Embedded Systems, VLSI, Networking(CCNA), Robotics, SCADA Communication.
Else you can also go for job is you have enough communication skill and have a deep practical and theoretical knowledge .
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck
Dear student,
There is very little difference between both the branches. Most of the universities offer almost similar syllabus for both i.e, ECE and ETE.
Electronic and Communication branch(ECE branch) basically includes studies related to transmission of electrical signals and circuitry. It deals with analog and digital transmission & reception of data, voice and video, solid state devices, microprocessors, satellite communication, antennae, wave progression and digital and analog communication. In ECE, you will mostly deal with all the applications which makes our life easier like mobile phones, computers etc.
Whereas, Electronic and Telecommunication branch (ETE branch) majorly focusses on advanced telecommunication and networking. It is also a major part of Electronics Engineering. It also combines various aspects of electrical, structural and civil engineering as well. The Engineers handle different types of technology that help us to communicate that is research, design and develop satellites, cable systems, mobile phones, the internet, e-mail etc. It also deals with microprocessors, analogue communication, digital and analogue integrated circuits, satellite communication, antennae and wave progression, solid-state devices etc.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck :)
Hello Student,
Actually see 2 colleges are different as well as the branches are also different. But here I am trying show some best themes of both of two colleges to tell which will be better for you.
Jaywantrao Sawant College of Engineering or JSPM Pune is no doubt a good college. This college is with NAAC B+ grade. Course fee is near about 3.3lakhs . The infrastructure is also good. The median salary packages of 3.3 lacs and maximum salary package is 18 lakh.
You can go to the link below to know more about this college
https://www.careers360.com/colleges/jspm-narhe-technical-campus-pune/be-computer-engineering-course
On the other hand DY Patil College of Engineering is also a very good Engineering College with NAAC A grade . The course fee is near about 4.9lakhs. the average salary package is near about 4.5 lakh and highest salary packages also near about 20 lakh.
Now see in first college the course fee is low and the packages are also low. Opposite for another college.
But my advice is that you should go for any of two colleges if you like computer science and coding all those things you can go for the first option otherwise you must should go for second option
