On rank of 11000 in clat pg which university i can get admission

Ayshwarya Mahadevan 25th Dec, 2025

With a CLAT PG rank of around 11,000, getting admission into the top National Law Universities (NLUs) is not likely, as their general category cut-offs usually close much earlier. However, you still have realistic chances in lower-ranked and newer NLUs, especially in the later rounds of CLAT counselling or through vacant seats.

At this rank, you may consider NLUs such as NLU Tripura, NLU Meghalaya, NLU Nagaland, NLU Sikkim, NLU Andhra Pradesh, NLU Odisha, NLU Jabalpur, and NLU Aurangabad, particularly if you belong to a reserved category like SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or have domicile or women reservation applicable. Cut-offs for these universities tend to go higher in rank compared to older NLUs, and seats often open up in subsequent counselling rounds due to withdrawals.

If you do not secure an NLU seat, you should also strongly consider reputed state and private law universities that accept CLAT PG scores or conduct their own entrance tests. Universities such as Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Delhi University (DU – through CUET PG), Jamia Millia Islamia, Symbiosis Law School, Christ University, Jindal Global Law School, and Nirma University are good alternatives for LLM aspirants. Many of these institutions offer strong academic exposure, experienced faculty, and good research opportunities, sometimes even better than newer NLUs.

Overall, while a rank of 11,000 limits options in top NLUs, admission is still possible in newer NLUs or good non-NLU law universities, provided you actively participate in counselling rounds and keep backup options ready.

i am a common core degree ba from andhra university without intermediate. shall i eligible for bl or llb

Ayshwarya Mahadevan 25th Dec, 2025

If you have completed a BA common core degree from Andhra University, even without completing Intermediate (10+2) through the conventional route, your eligibility for BL or LLB depends on how your earlier education is recognised by the university and the Bar Council of India (BCI).

As per BCI norms, candidates seeking admission to a 3-year LLB or BL programme must have completed a recognised bachelor’s degree following the 10+2 pattern of education. This means that your admission to BA should have been based on a qualification that is considered equivalent to Intermediate by the university and the education authorities.

If Andhra University admitted you to the BA programme through a recognised alternative pathway, such as open schooling, bridge courses, or a qualification accepted as equivalent to 10+2, then your BA degree is considered valid. In such a case, you will be eligible to apply for 3-year LLB or BL programmes, subject to individual university admission rules and entrance exams.

However, if Intermediate was completely bypassed without any recognised equivalency, some law colleges and state universities may raise objections at the time of admission or enrolment with the Bar Council. This is why it is very important to verify whether your BA admission was officially recognised as 10+2 equivalent by the university and relevant education boards.

To avoid future complications, you should contact the law college or university where you plan to apply, explain your academic background clearly, and confirm eligibility in writing. If required, you may also consider completing a recognised open Intermediate qualification to strengthen your eligibility and avoid issues during enrolment as an advocate.

In summary, you may be eligible for BL or LLB, but final confirmation depends on whether your BA degree is recognised as following the 10+2 pattern as mandated by the Bar Council of India.

I have completed Diploma in Opthalmology, Is there any College Or University offers online Degree in B Optom Or Opthalmology?

Ayshwarya Mahadevan 25th Dec, 2025

After completing a Diploma in Ophthalmology, many students look for flexible study options, but it is important to clearly understand the nature of Optometry and Ophthalmology courses in India.

At present, no UGC-recognised college or university in India offers an online or fully distance mode degree in B. Optom (Bachelor of Optometry) or Ophthalmology. These programmes are classified as clinical and healthcare courses, which require compulsory hands-on training, hospital exposure, patient interaction, internships, and practical lab work. Because of this practical requirement, regulatory bodies like UGC, RCI (for allied health sciences), and state health universities do not approve these degrees in online or distance mode.

If you wish to pursue B.Optom after a Diploma in Ophthalmology, you can look for regular, full-time colleges that offer lateral entry or credit transfer, subject to their admission rules. Some private universities and health science colleges may allow diploma holders to join B. Optom in the second year, but this depends entirely on the institution’s policy and state regulations. Admission is usually through merit or an entrance test, and the course must be pursued in offline mode.

Alternatively, if you specifically need flexibility, you may consider non-clinical online courses related to eye care, such as certificates or diplomas in vision care management, healthcare administration, medical coding, hospital management, or public health. These courses do not replace B. Optom but can help in career growth alongside your diploma qualification.

In summary, an online degree in B. Optom or Ophthalmology is not available or valid in India. To move ahead academically and professionally in this field, you should opt for a regular, on-campus B. Optom programme or explore related non-clinical online courses depending on your career goals. Before applying, always verify the course approval and recognition status from UGC or the respective health university.

I have done my Diploma mechanical from Bhopal madhyanchal professional university in 2023 how I get 12 equivalency , university say it not possible Aiu ugc state government can provide this certification or not if they provide where can I apply plz answer big help for me.

Vaishnavi Viswanathan 24th Dec, 2025

Hello,

Given the data by you, your diploma is considered the equivalent of a class 12 education.

But the universities don't accept to offer such equivalent certificates. Such recognition is handled by the state education boards or government institutions.

AIU usually manages the foreign study affairs, not state secondary board education diplomas for class 12. Usually, MPSBE handles providing those polytechnic diplomas, considering and verifying them for 2- or 3-year diplomas.

Just apply at https://mpbse.nic.in/ to get the equivalent certificate. Attest your educational documents and ID proof.

Hope it helps with your query. Good luck.

I had done my 12th in 2021 in science bio stream. Then i had taken 2 drops to prepare for neet i didnt got selected and then i had joined for online bca in 2023 from university of mysore. And now i am planning to do mca regular so which college would be better private and government both.

SEJAL JAIN 23rd Dec, 2025

Hello Yashpal

Your plan to shift from online BCA to regular MCA is completely valid and acceptable. The gap years taken for NEET preparation will not affect MCA admission.
You should first try government colleges through exams like NIMCET or CUET-PG for better fees and placements. Top options include NITs, University of Hyderabad, JNU, and Delhi University.
If not, good private choices are VIT, Manipal, SRM, Amrita, and Christ University. Choose a college based on placements, fees, and industry exposure, not just the name.

Hope it helps you, and if you face any other query, you can raise your question directly. We are here to assist you with the best.
