Hi Shivangi,
MAT score is accepted by 600 B-schools in the country. To know whether you’re eligible for Hyderabad University or Savitribai Phule University, you can use Careers360’s MAT Pathfinder Tool. While using the tool, you would need to enter your MAT score details, category, academic details and other details asked by the tool. Once you submit the details, the tool will display the list of colleges as per your percentile/score. Here is the link to the tool -

However, I would like to inform you that your score is quite average. You may or may not qualify the cutoff of renowned B-schools or universities.
All the best.

Hi Naresh,
The University of Hyderabad offers MBA program through its School of Management Studies. The University offers MBA General, MBA Business Analytics, and MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management with various options to choose electives.
As per the official website of the University, you need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university/board to apply for admission to the MBA program. You need to appear for CAT exam (CAT 2018 will be conducted on November 25 and the registration will begin from the last week of July 2018). However, the information doesn’t look very updated on the website as the years mentioned for eligibility are very old (for ex. 2007-08). You need to qualify the CAT exam and apply separately to the University of Hyderabad as and when its application process starts (tentatively in December). The MBA program at the University is residential.

hi rohith ,
Are you unsure about your career after graduation? You will come across a number of options, opportunities and suggestions. One of the most lucrative career options is PGDM. (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) It is not only rewarding, but also well aligned with the current industry trends. A number of colleges in India offer PGDM , but making the right choice is important too. If you are still confused, go through these 5 reasons that will give you an insight about the benefits of doing PGDM course.
Unlike MBA, the syllabus of PGDM is closely related to industry practices and trends. PGDM course is offered by autonomous institutes, which are not affiliated with any university. Hence, the curriculum is updated frequently as per the changing business trends. The students learn the new and ongoing concepts of entrepreneurship.
A PGDM course enhances the communication and interpersonal skills of the students. The Indian education system does not focus more on communication skills right through school life. We are a country of many; children are not encouraged to be opinionated. We are hard-wired like that; parents and teachers focus more on grades. However, a PGDM program develops decision making skills and analytical thinking in every student.
A PGDM program prepares the students for the forthcoming challenges and roadblocks in the business world. There are not only classroom lectures, but a lot of exposure to the real world. The professors are mostly industry leaders or entrepreneurs. The summer internship program and the international industrial tours enable the students to gauge the present business scenario. They can translate the theoretical concepts to reality once they start their journey in the corporate world.
An AICTE approved PGDM course will pave the way for umpteen placement opportunities for the students. The employers always prefer students with some wacky and out of the box ideas, who can perceive roadblocks as challenges and opportunities. For the recruiters, a management degree is just an entry pass to appear for an interview. To get a well-paid job and sustain in it, one is expected to be a performer. A PGDM prepares the students to develop a go-getter attitude.
A start-up is the dream of many young management graduates in the country. PGDM course surely helps to make it possible. Once a student has an esteemed degree and is well aware of the nuances of the corporate culture, it is not very difficult to kick start a business. All those who wish to have creative freedom and make profits for themselves, a management degree can be the first step.
all the best
