Hi aspirant,
Lucknow University offers a three-year undergraduate (UG) LLB curriculum. It is designed for students studying law as a second degree after earning a bachelor's degree in any field. Thus, the three-year LLB program at Lucknow University is a bachelor's degree program in terms of degree levels.
All the best!
To get into the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) branch at the University of Lucknow, you'll need a competitive JEE Main score. While the university doesn't release fixed percentile requirements, we can look at previous year's cutoffs for guidance.
In 2024, the JEE Main cutoff for CSE at the University of Lucknow ranged from 150273 to 225423 for the General category. This corresponds to approximately 85-90 percentile.
However, please note that cutoffs can vary significantly from year to year, depending on factors like the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and seat availability.
To give you a better idea, here are the cutoffs for different categories in 2024:
- General: 150273 - 225423
- OBC: 158054 - 307876
- SC/ST: 234835 - 539144
To increase your chances of getting into the CSE branch at the University of Lucknow, aim for a high JEE Main score, ideally above 250-270.This will put you in a competitive position for admission.
Typically, the mark sheet for a program conducted by a college affiliated with a university, such as City Law College, would be issued by the university itself. Therefore, if City Law College is affiliated with the University of Lucknow, your mark sheet would generally be issued by the University of Lucknow, not the college directly.
You haven't mention your course of which you have applied please specify that you get your answers more accurate.moreover, the selection is based on your entrance rank, let me tell you there are fixed number of seats for all the courses so you need to secure a good rank to get admission.there are more than 500 seats in each course and 30 seats in bsc particular branch each so you need to under rank 500 to get admission there.but sometimes students leave the course because they are selected somewhere else so there is chance that rank may increase.
Hello,
To get admission to B.Tech at Lucknow University, candidates must first qualify for the UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) or JEE Main. The application process involves submitting the UPSEE/JEE Main scores, filling out the application form online on the university’s official website, and participating in the counseling process. The counseling includes document verification and seat allocation based on the merit list. Once a seat is allotted, candidates must complete the admission formalities, including payment of fees and submission of required documents.
Hope this helps you,

Hii,
the new campus of Lucknow University is still being developed. It has functional classrooms, computer labs with internet, and basic facilities. Since the B.Tech programs started recently, especially CS and CS-AI, placement records are limited. The university has a central placement cell that invites companies, but for now, students need to be proactive in applying for internships and jobs themselves.
The university has qualified teachers, and the Computer Science department is one of the largest there. The faculty covers modern subjects like AI, Data Science, IoT, and Machine Learning. As for the degree, Lucknow University provides its own degree—it is not affiliated with AKTU for these engineering programs.
