Hi, Im already doing DNB in a private college . I want to write neet pg again and take another course. What will be the procedures for discontinuing from current course?

sadafreen356 28th Jun, 2025

To discontinue your current DNB course in a private college and potentially pursue another course after writing NEET PG again, follow these steps:

Step 1: Check Your College's Policies

Review your college's rules and regulations regarding course discontinuation, including any potential penalties or fees associated with withdrawal. Contact your college administration or academic advisor for specific guidance.

Step 2: Understand the Implications

Consider the implications of discontinuing your course, such as:

- Financial implications: You may lose your fees or have to pay a penalty for withdrawing from the course.

- Academic implications: Discontinuing your course may impact your future academic prospects or eligibility for other courses.

Step 3: Document Verification

If you decide to discontinue, ensure you obtain necessary documents from your college, such as:

- Transfer certificate: Required for admission to another college.

- Mark sheets: Necessary for future academic pursuits.

- No objection certificate: May be required by your current college for you to join another institution.

Step 4: NEET PG Registration

If you wish to pursue another course, register for NEET PG again and follow the necessary procedures. Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for the new course.

Key Considerations

- DNB course duration: Typically 3 years, and discontinuing may impact your future prospects.

- Course fees: Varying fees for different private colleges, ranging from 1.05 lakh to 28.10 lakh.

- Eligibility criteria: Ensure you meet the requirements for the new course, including qualifying NEET PG scores.

To gain admission to the BASLP (Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology) course at RUHS Jaipur, you'll need to have passed your 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics, and secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. RUHS admissions are primarily entrance-based for many programs, including BASLP, so you'll likely need to qualify in a relevant entrance exam.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

1. Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: You must have completed your 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as core subjects.

Minimum Marks: You'll need a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in your 10+2.

Age Limit: You should be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2025.

2. RUHS Admission Process:

Entrance Exam: RUHS Jaipur typically conducts its own entrance exam or may consider scores from other national-level or university-specific exams like AIIMS Paramedical, JIPMER, or state-level CETs.

Application: You'll need to apply online through the official RUHS website.

Counseling: If you qualify based on the entrance exam, you'll likely participate in university-level counseling for seat allocation.

3. Key Points:

RUHS is a recognized university by UGC and AICTE and offers various health science programs.

RUHS also has affiliated and constituent colleges for medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, and paramedical programs.

For BASLP, you should check the official RUHS website for the specific entrance exam details and application procedures for the 2025 admission cycle.

In summary, focus on preparing for the relevant entrance exam, completing the online application process on the RUHS website, and staying informed about the counseling schedule if you meet the eligibility criteria and are shortlisted.

harsh singh 25th Jun, 2025

With 92 percentile in MHT-CET, you can easily get Mechatronics in colleges like MMIT Pune and TCET Mumbai. These colleges have lower cutoffs, so admission is likely. You can also try related branches like AI & DS or Robotics in private colleges like PCCOE, AISSMS, VIIT, etc.

harsh singh 25th Jun, 2025

With a 3000 DCET rank, you can get good Bangalore colleges like RNSIT, Atria, CMRIT, and possibly DSATM (non-CSE branches more likely). These colleges fall within your rank range for lateral entry. Prioritize them in counseling.

I intrest Mbbs but Neet score is very low..then??

Mansi Satwani 25th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant,

If you had written your score, then I could have given a targeted answer. But, no worries I will give you a general answer. If you have a low score and you still want yo pursue MBBS, then you can search for colleges with low cutoff marks, or you can take admission in management quota. If that is not possible, you can think of pursuing MBBS from other countries like Nepal, Russia or Philippines. If you don't want to go abroad, then you can take a drop this year and apply for neet next year. But don't lose hope, you will achieve what you want with hardwork and patience. I hope this helps you.

Best of luck for your future.

Yes, PhD students are generally eligible for hostel facilities in most universities and institutes, but priority is often given to UG (B.Tech), PG (M.Tech), and other full-time programs depending on the institution’s policy and availability of rooms.

  • Visit or call the university hostel office and inquire specifically for PhD hostel availability.

  • Email the PhD coordinator or Dean of Students to get written confirmation.

  • Mention clearly that your classes start on July 1, 2025 , and you require accommodation from that date .

  • If hostel is not guaranteed, arrange temporary accommodation near campus for the first few weeks.

PhD students get the hostel facility or not? And BTech and M Tech students hostel allotments done after that PhD students get the hostel facility? if july 1 PhD classes will be starting so that I need confirmation about hostel facility if is there means I need to join on July 1 2025

sadafreen356 28th Jun, 2025

Yes, PhD students are generally eligible for hostel facilities, but the availability and allotment process can vary. Typically, hostel allotments are prioritized for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and then PhD students may be considered based on remaining availability. For your situation, where PhD classes are starting July 1, 2025, it's recommended to confirm the hostel allotment process with the specific institution or department you're joining as soon as possible.

Elaboration:

Hostel Eligibility:

Most institutions offer hostel facilities to PhD students, but the exact process and priority can differ.

Allotment Order:

Universities often prioritize hostel allocation for undergraduate (B.Tech), then postgraduate (M.Tech) students, and then PhD students might be accommodated based on remaining capacity.

Confirmation is Key:

To ensure you have hostel accommodation for your July 1, 2025 start date, it's crucial to directly contact the relevant authorities at your chosen institution (e.g., the hostel warden or admissions office).

First Come, First Serve:

Some institutions may follow a "first come, first serve" policy for hostel allotments, making it important to inquire about the process and potentially apply as early as possible.

Special Circumstances:

Some universities may have specific rules for PhD students, such as maximum duration of stay or procedures for vacating the hostel upon completion of the program.

i am confused between commerce and science i am always intrester in bussinss but i dont like the baknking fields and ca like stuff i like to manage a bussiness and know how the rich always make and manages money but i also dont know if it is a right desicion and iam intrested in aircraft also when i think what i do in future i always thought retiring early by investing and make passive incomes

sadafreen356 28th Jun, 2025

It sounds like you're interested in business and financial management but also have a passion for aviation. It's understandable to feel confused, but there are ways to combine these interests. While Commerce offers a strong foundation in business, and Science can lead to aviation-related fields, it's possible to pursue your interests in either stream and still achieve your goals of early retirement and passive income.

Here's a breakdown to help you decide:

1. Commerce:

Focus:

Business, finance, accounting, economics, and management.

Career Paths:

Accounting, finance, banking, entrepreneurship, and potentially aviation-related roles in business operations or management.

Pros:

Strong foundation for business-oriented careers, potential for high-paying finance and investment roles.

Cons:

Might feel restrictive if you're very interested in the technical side of aviation.

Retirement Focus:

Studying finance and investment can help you build wealth and create passive income streams.

2. Science:

Focus:

Technical aspects of aviation, engineering, physics, and potentially related fields like aerospace engineering.

Career Paths:

Aviation engineering, piloting, air traffic control, or research related to aviation technology.

Pros:

Directly related to your interest in aircraft and could lead to specialized and potentially high-paying aviation careers.

Cons:

Might not offer the same depth of business knowledge as Commerce.

Retirement Focus:

You could explore opportunities for high-income careers in aviation, allowing for faster accumulation of wealth for retirement.

3. Combining Your Interests:

Consider a Dual Approach:

You could pursue a Science degree with a minor in Business or an MBA after your Science degree to gain business expertise.

Explore Aviation-Related Business Roles:

Look for roles in aviation companies that involve business management, finance, or operations.

Invest in Your Passion:

Even if you choose a Commerce stream, you can still invest in aviation-related assets like stocks or explore opportunities in aviation-related businesses.

4. Addressing Your Concerns:

"Burning fields" and "CA stuff":

While some commerce careers involve intensive work, not all do. Many opportunities exist for work-life balance and passive income generation.

Passive Income:

Both Commerce and Science offer paths to passive income. Commerce provides more direct routes through financial investments and business ventures, while Science can lead to high-paying careers with good savings potential for investment.

Making the Right Decision:

Ultimately, the right decision depends on your priorities and long-term goals. Consider your strengths, interests, and career aspirations.

Recommendations:

1. Talk to Professionals:

Speak with career counselors, financial advisors, and professionals in both Commerce and Science fields (especially aviation).

2. Shadow Professionals:

Spend time observing people working in fields that interest you.

3. Assess Your Skills:

Identify your strengths and weaknesses in both Science and Commerce-related subjects.

4. Explore Your Options:

Research different career paths within both fields to see which ones align best with your interests and goals.

By taking the time to explore your options and assess your strengths, you can make an informed decision that aligns with your aspirations for a fulfilling and financially successful future.

With 4578 rank in Phase 2, you’re on the edge for getting ECE at SRM KTR. Last year’s cutoff was around 5000, so you have a chance, but it's not guaranteed. Apply early and keep backup options like other campuses or branches.
