Deen Dayal Upadhyaya University (DDU) Gorakhpur has not yet released the cutoff marks for M.Sc. Zoology admission for the year 2025. The university is expected to release the cutoff list by the last week of July 2025.
To apply for M.Sc. Zoology, students from the general category must have at least 55 percent marks in their B.Sc. degree. This is the minimum eligibility needed.
In past years, DDU has not shared the exact cutoff marks publicly. Admission is based on the marks scored in the university's entrance exam. Students with higher marks in the entrance test have better chances of getting selected.
Once the cutoff list is published, you will be able to check if your marks meet the required level for admission in the general category. Counselling is expected to start from 24 July 2025.

In Hubli, one of the best colleges that accepts PGCET score is KLE Technological University. It is a well-known private university and offers good postgraduate courses. Many students from North Karnataka prefer this university for PGCET-based admissions.
In Bangalore, there are many good colleges that accept PGCET score for MBA and other postgraduate courses. Some of the top options are Christ University, Jain University, PES University, Kristu Jayanti College, Indus Business Academy, NSB Academy, RV Institute of Management, and MS Ramaiah Institute of Management. These colleges are known for good teaching, placements, and reputation.
If your PGCET rank is under 3000, you have a good chance to get admission in top colleges like PES, Kristu Jayanti, or IBA. If your rank is a bit higher, you can still try for colleges like RVIM, MS Ramaiah, or NSB Academy.
KLE in Hubli and these colleges in Bangalore are all good options depending on your rank and preference.
You got waitlist number 1 in the general category for M.Sc. Audiology at AIISH Mysore for the year 2025.
This is a very good position. Your chance of getting admission is high because you are first in line if any general category student does not take the seat. In most cases, waitlist number 1 gets the seat during the second round or if someone cancels their admission.
There are only 36 seats in total for M.Sc. Audiology, and AIISH follows a strict process. But every year, some students do not confirm their admission or choose other colleges. When that happens, the seat goes to the next person on the waitlist.
So you have a strong chance of getting admission. You should keep checking the official website for updates and wait for the second list or further instructions from AIISH.

You have scored 502 marks in NEET and your OBC-NCL category rank is 23,997. You are asking if you can get admission to MGM Medical College, Indore, under the Madhya Pradesh state quota.
According to the last few years' cutoff trends, OBC category students who got admission to MGM Indore under the state quota had marks above 600 and ranks around 7,000 or better. In 2024 also, the cutoff for OBC in MGM Indore was around 603 marks.
Your score and rank are much lower than the usual cutoff for this college. So, based on this data, you do not have a chance of getting a seat in MGM Indore through the MP state quota with 502 marks and your current rank.
You can still look for other private or deemed universities where the cutoff is lower, but the fees may be higher.
If you have 80 percentile in MHT CET, you can get admission in some good engineering colleges in Maharashtra for branches like Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI & DS), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML), or Cybersecurity.
At 80 percentile, your CET rank will be around 19,000 to 32,000. With this rank, you may not get the top government colleges, but you can get admission in private or semi-government colleges.
Some colleges where you can get admission in AI & DS, AI & ML, or Cybersecurity branches are:
You can try GH Raisoni College of Engineering in Nagpur, where AI & DS or AI & ML branches close around 80–82 percentile. ISBM College of Engineering in Pune also has AI & DS and AI & ML with cutoffs close to 80 percentile. St. John College of Engineering (Palghar) and Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering (Navi Mumbai) also offer branches in AI or Cybersecurity and sometimes have closing percentiles near 80 in later rounds. Xavier Institute of Engineering in Mumbai offers Cybersecurity and AI/ML specializations. It sometimes takes students with 80 percentile or above, especially in later rounds.
Your chances will be better in later CAP rounds (2nd, 3rd or spot rounds), and if you are from the home state or have category reservations.

Hello,
If you have less than 50% marks in graduation, then you are not eligible for CTET Paper 2 under the general category.
However, if you belong to SC/ST/OBC or PwD category, then you may be eligible with 45% marks in graduation along with a B.Ed degree as per NCTE norms.
Hope it helps !
If you have 83% in Class 12 CBSE with 6 subjects, and 88% in best of 5, you are not eligible for the Medhavi (MMVY) scholarship of Madhya Pradesh. For CBSE students, minimum required percentage is 85% overall , not best of 5.
Yes, SNQ quota can be useful in some courses, but it is not commonly used for BAMS admission.
SNQ means Supernumerary Quota. It is an extra quota made mainly for students from economically weaker backgrounds. This quota is mostly available in engineering and technical courses. In medical courses like BAMS, SNQ quota is usually not available.
BAMS admission is mostly done through NEET score. Seats are given based on all India quota, state quota, category quota like SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or sometimes management quota. SNQ quota is not mentioned for BAMS in most states.
But each state has its own counselling process for BAMS. So, it is better to check your state’s official counselling website to confirm if SNQ quota is used for BAMS in your state.
