Thank you
With a NEET 2025 score of 418, your All India rank is likely in the range of 1.6 to 1.8 lakh. Here is what that means for annual college fees:
Government MBBS Colleges
All India Quota 15 percent: Your rank is well below the cutoff, typically less than or equal to 60000, so admission is highly unlikely.
State Quota 85 percent in Tamil Nadu: Last year, the OC cutoff was approximately 600 marks around 66000 rank. Your score is far below that.
Conclusion : With 418 marks, chances for a government MBBS seat are extremely slim.
Private Self-Financing Colleges
State Quota approximately 50 percent: Fees are approximately Rs 4 lakhs per year in Tamil Nadu. Closing scores for this quota typically require around 480 marks, so 418 may not be enough.
Management Quota approximately 35 percent: Fees are significantly higher, around Rs 12 to 14 lakhs per year in Tamil Nadu, and possibly more in deemed universities. With your score, you may qualify under the management quota in private or deemed institutions. Example: In private deemed universities, fees often start at around Rs 13.5 lakhs per year.
NRI Quota approximately 15 percent: Fees are usually much higher and apply only if you are eligible under this category.
To properly arrange their studies and identify key exam topics, candidates must keep up with the most recent version of the HSSC CET syllabus. General awareness, reasoning, English, Hindi, general science, mathematics, computers, and other disciplines are included in the syllabus.

Yes, its completely okay to leave maths in grade 11 if you wan to persue law in future. Especially if you are aiming fo 5 years inegrated law courses like ; BA LLB, BBA LLB,etc after 12th. Law enterance exams (like CLAT, AILET, SLAT, MHCET law) do not require maths at an advanced level. Most of them include basic quantitative aptitude, upto class 10 level only. I hope this will help you out.
