Hii,
Yes, after 12th, you can definitely go for diploma courses these are called post-secondary diplomas or advanced diplomas. Popular diploma courses after 12th include Diploma in Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Fashion Designing, Web Designing, Nursing, Radiology, Lab Technician, and many more.
If you are from a science stream, you can explore paramedical diplomas, engineering diplomas some states allow direct 2nd-year admission, or IT diplomas. For commerce or arts students, diplomas in accounting, travel & tourism, or journalism are good options. Most of these courses are 1 to 3 years long. Admission is usually merit-based or through state-level diploma entrance exams. These courses can be job-oriented and are a great way to enter specific fields early if you don’t want to go for a degree immediately.

The opening date for 1st year BBA students varies across institutions. While some colleges have already commenced classes, others have extending their reporting or orientation dates until late August or even early September. The exact schedule depends on the specific Institution. So,it 's best to check directly with your college for accurate info or let us know your college name so that we can check if the opening date has been officially announced.
BBA 1st year admissions for 2025 generally open from late 2024 and continue until mid 2025 with last application dates for many universities around 14 to 16 2025 . Entrance exams also occur mainly between early and mid-2025 . If you have a specific university or entrance exam in mind, I can provide the precise opening date for the particular institute you are looking for.
That's a very specific and important question to ask during the CSAB special rounds. The discrepancy between what you see on the choice-filling portal and the official PDF document is a common point of confusion for many students.
Here's the most accurate way to understand this situation:
The information displayed on the online choice-filling portal is generally considered the most up-to-date and authoritative source for seat availability during the counseling process. While the PDF documents released by CSAB are helpful for reference and as a general guide, the live data on the portal reflects the real-time status of vacant seats.
Therefore, if NIT Agartala's Biotechnology branch is showing up as a choice available in your portal, it means there are indeed vacant seats for you to fill for that particular branch and category.
There could be several reasons for this kind of discrepancy:
Real-time updates: The online portal is dynamically updated. As students surrender their seats, withdraw from the process, or have their seat allocations canceled for various reasons, those seats become vacant and are immediately added to the available choices for the subsequent rounds. The PDF documents, on the other hand, are static. They are published at a specific point in time and might not reflect the most recent changes.
Tentative nature of PDFs: The PDF for vacant seats is often released as a "tentative seat vacancy." The document itself might even state that candidates can fill choices that are not listed in the table, further reinforcing that the online portal is the primary source of truth.
Category-specific vacancies: The PDF might show a general overview, while the online portal will show the specific seats available to you based on your category (e.g., General, OBC, SC, ST) and other criteria like state quota. A seat might be vacant in a category that wasn't mentioned in the general PDF but is open for you to apply for.
My recommendation is to trust the online choice-filling portal. If you see NIT Agartala's Biotechnology as an option, you should definitely consider adding it to your list of preferences if you are interested in that branch and college. The goal of CSAB special rounds is to fill all the remaining seats, and the online system is designed to facilitate this by showing all possible options to eligible candidates.
Hey Jatin:)
If biotechnology at NIT Agartala is showing in the CSAB choice filling portal,it means you can select it but that doesn't always means seats are available. CSAB portal shows all branches including those with zero vacancies. However, since this branch is not listed in the PDF released by CSAB it likely means there are no vacant seats right now.
CSAB still allows you to fill such choices so that if a seat becomes available later due to someone withdrawing or reshuffling, you can still be considered for it.
Note: It's advisable to include such options but make sure to keep branches with confirmed availability higher in your list incase no vacancy opens up later.
Hope this clears your query!
In Maharashtra, several government and private colleges offer Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) through NEET UG scores. A few popular options include
private institutes like
The admission is done via State CET Cell Maharashtra. Cutoffs for BPT are usually lower than MBBS/BDS, and if your scored around 250–400 in NEET can expect calls in later rounds. Keep checking the official counselling portal for BPT-specific seat matrix and college list.

The last date for B.Sc Nursing admission in Vivekanand College can vary each year depending on university and state-level nursing counselling schedules. Generally, admissions remain open till August or early September, especially for private colleges. For accurate information, it's best to directly visit the college website or contact their admission office, as they regularly update deadlines based on government notifications and university circulars.
The exact last date for B.Sc. Nursing admission in Vivekanand college depends on which campus or state you're talking about, because there are multiple colleges with similar names. Most of them usually close admissions between July and August. I’d suggest checking the official website of that particular Vivekanand college or contacting them directly for the confirmed last date.
Hey Aanchal:)
Unfortunately, There is currently no exact college predictor tool available for specifically BPT like the MBBS/However you can still estimate your chances based on the exam you appeared for whether it's NEET UG ,CUET UG or institution- level, some collegea also offer based on 12th marks.Since admission criteria vary you can compare your score with past cut-offs.While exact prediction is not possible a close estimate can still be made. You may also share your rank, category, score on our platform to help assess your chances more accurately.
Here's the list of Top BPT colleges in Maharashtra:
