For BDS in Karnataka, government dental colleges usually close at much better ranks than yours in the OBC category, so your chances for a government seat are very low. Private dental colleges have higher closing ranks, but even then, your current rank is still on the weaker side. You might get a seat only in less competitive private colleges if any remain vacant after multiple counselling rounds.

For private colleges, there is still a possibility if the cutoff drops in later rounds or mop-up, but you may need to consider higher fees. If you are open to BAMS, BHMS, or BDS, your chances will be better.

The application window for applying for UPSC CSE 2025 was opened on 22 January 2025 and closed on 11 February 2025 . The Prelims exam has also been conducted in the month of May and now in August Mains will be conducted.
