I do think you stand a decent chance to get CSE in some lower ranked NITs, IIITs, GFTIs because you have a JEE Main rank of 27,015 in the EWS category and the chances improve for home state quota or in the JoSAA rounds 5-6. I do not think you are going to get CSE in the top NITs, i.e., Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal and you aim to get CSE in some of the below-mentioned institutions:
With a 489 rank in CG PET 2025 under the General category you have a very good chance of getting CSE at BIT Durg. Historically CSE has closed at about 700-800 under General category, so you will be well within the typical cutoff range. Electrical Engineering at BIT Durg is also a good branch. The department has good faculty and labs. While placements in core EE are not as many compared to CSE, many EE students got good placement in IT/software roles on campus. If you have an interest in electronics, power systems or want to prepare for competitive exams like GATE or PSU jobs then EE is a good option.
HEY THERE!!!
Hello Uzwitha,
After finishing Bi.P.C.( Biology, Physics, Chemistry) in intermediate, students have many career-advancing opportunities depending on their interest and ambition.
In the NU-CAT exam syllabus, Class 12 topics generally have more prominence than Class 11. This is as many of the questions are intended to test students on advanced concepts which are important for students performing higher studies and generally would come in Class 12. The Class 11 fundamentals are important as they make up the base for Class 12 topics. It is important to have an understanding of both, but Class 12 topics are your best chance for a better score.
Hi aspirant,
The NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test) syllabus covers concepts from both classes 11 and 12 .
All the best!
Yes, SC (Scheduled Caste) candidates are eligible to apply to NIIMS (Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences). In line with Indian Government norms, NIIMS is required to observe reservation policies for SC, ST, OBC, and applicable categories. SC candidates can apply via the reserved category; SC candidates can also avail of relaxation in cutoff scores, seat allotment, and fee structure according to the course and government rules.
