my kcet rank is 37382 and anual income is 20000.can i claim snq quota.can i get seat for cse or ai or e&c in top clgs of banglore and especially kle hubli college. can u tell me which top college can i claim snq quota for cse and ai branch.

Prachi Kumari 3rd Jun, 2025

Hello Jay !

Yes, you are eligible for the SNQ (Supernumerary Quota) as your annual family income is Rs. 20,000, which is below the Rs. 8 lakh limit.

But with a KCET rank of 37,382, getting CSE, AI, or ECE in top Bangalore colleges is quite difficult. These branches usually close at much lower ranks.

For example:

  • BMS College of Engineering : CSE closes around 5,000–6,000 rank

  • PES University : CSE closes around 2,000–3,000 rank

  • RV College of Engineering : CSE usually closes below 2,000 rank

Now, about KLE Technological University, Hubli :

  • CSE closed around 6,000 rank

  • AI closed around 7,000–8,000 rank

So, with your rank, it's not possible to get CSE or AI in KLE Hubli under the general or SNQ quota.

However, you may get chances in some other private engineering colleges where the cutoff is higher, like:

  • Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering

  • Acharya Institute of Technology

  • New Horizon College of Engineering

  • JSSATE, Bangalore

These colleges may offer CSE or AI under SNQ for higher ranks, but mostly in the later rounds.

You can also use our KCET College Predictor Tool to predict which college you can get based on your score.

Hope it helps !

Can i get bhms college in delhi through state quota general category

Prachi Kumari 3rd Jun, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you can get a BHMS college in Delhi through the state quota if you belong to the general category and have a good NEET score.

There are mainly two government BHMS colleges in Delhi:

  1. Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital

  2. Dr. B.R. Sur Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre

For Delhi state quota (85%), the NEET cutoff for general category is usually between 400 to 450 marks. The closing ranks in past years were around 53,000 to 59,000.

If you have Delhi domicile and score within this range, you have a good chance of getting a seat. Admission is based on NEET and done through Delhi University.

Hope it helps !

which coaching or class should be taken for cuet as a commerce student aiming for srcc college and also want to give ipmat exam

SEJAL JAIN 7th Jun, 2025

Hello Disha

It's great that you're aiming for both SRCC (Shri Ram College of Commerce) through the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) and preparing for the IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) . Balancing preparation for both can be challenging, but with the right strategy and resources, it's entirely achievable.

For CUET, focusing on your domain subjects (such as Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics, and English) is crucial. Given your goal of entering SRCC, it's advisable to select domain subjects that align with your strengths and the SRCC cutoff trends. Experts emphasize the importance of mastering the NCERT Class 11 and 12 syllabus for CUET preparation.

  • Domain Subjects : Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics.

  • General Test : Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge, Current Affairs.

  • Language Test : English. Career360.com (//Career360.com) or Kpclass can help you in providing all the study material and help.

Is 266 marks in neet 2025 for sc category is it is good marks

Prachi Kumari 3rd Jun, 2025

Hello,

Scoring 266 marks in NEET 2025 under the SC category is above the qualifying cutoff. So, you will most likely qualify NEET.

But this score is not enough to get a government MBBS seat, especially through All India Quota. For SC category, the cut-off for government colleges usually goes much higher, around 500+ marks.

With 266 marks, you can try for private medical colleges, deemed universities, or BDS courses. Also, check your state quota cut-off, as some states may have lower cut-offs.

Hope it helps !

I appeared for ail mohali exam 2025 and got 121 marks and 171 rank and Im all india general category. What are my chances for admission

Prachi Kumari 3rd Jun, 2025

Hello,

Based on previous years, general category candidates usually needed around 130 to 135 marks to get admission in AIL Mohali . With your 121 marks and rank 171, your chances are a bit low for the first rounds.

But you should still attend the counselling, because cut-offs change every year and you might get a chance in later rounds.

Hope it helps !

Hi, I got JEE advanced rank of 3878. in female category, what is the chance of getting electronics in IIT

Prachi Kumari 3rd Jun, 2025

Hello,

With a JEE Advanced rank of 3878 in the female category, your chances of getting Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at an IIT depend on the specific IIT and its previous year cutoffs.

Usually, for general female category (also called female-open or female-general), ECE cutoffs in older IITs like Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, and Madras are quite high, often within the top 2000-3000 ranks.

For your rank around 3878, you might have a chance at newer or mid-tier IITs like IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Patna, IIT Ropar, or IIT Indore, where the ECE cutoff for female candidates has sometimes gone beyond 3500 or 4000 in recent years.

So, based on past trends, Electronics in top older IITs may be tough, but in newer IITs, you have a reasonable chance.

Hope it helps !
