Can i correct my name in aadhar card using my 12th class student ID card

Taabia Fathima 16th Aug, 2025

Hey!

No,you cannot use your 12th ID card to correct your name in Aadhar .UIDAI(Unique Identification Authority Of India) doesn't accept school or colleges ID cards as valid proof for name changes. For such corrections, you need a government-recognized document like your passport,PAN card, ration card or even your board- issued marksheet (10th/12th).

So,if you want to update your name in Aadhar, use one of the accepted documents at an Aadhar Seva Kendra or upload it on the UIDAI portal .

I am student with pcb background a university is giving me btech cse with bridge course of maths is it valid and safe pls help sir would I face any problems in future

Chelsie G 17th Aug, 2025

Hello! Thank you for reaching out. Yes, it is generally valid and safe. Universities sometimes offer BTech in CSE to students from non CS backgrounds like PCB through a bridge course in mathematics to cover foundational concepts needed for engineering. The bridge course is designed to bring you up to speed, so you can handle core CSE subjects without difficulty. You shouldn’t face major problems in the future as long as you are willing to put in extra effort to grasp programming and logic based subjects.

how can I give hsc improvement exam if I have already taken admission for btech

Shekhar Pachlore 16th Aug, 2025

Yes you can do that but there are some different rules for different board
for

CBSC- You can appear for improvement exam in the next year after your first attempt

Different State boards have some different rules Some state boards (e.g., Maharashtra HSC Board) allow improvement attempts within 1–2 years, but rules and subject limits vary. You need to apply to your original school/board office
but also check University criteria

Can we write improvement exam two times in a year

Abhi sonkar 16th Aug, 2025

Good afternoon here's the details

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)

Yes, but with limits:

July Session: You can appear for 1 subject (or 2 in Class 10) alongside compartment students

Next Year (Feb–March): You can appear for up to 5 subjects as a private candidate

Important: You cannot be enrolled in college if you're giving improvement exams

NEP 2020 Reform (All Boards from 2026)

As per the CBSE Draft Scheme:

Students will be allowed to take board exams twice in a year

This applies to Class 10 and 12, starting from 2026

The best score from the two attempts will be considered

State Boards (WBBSE, UP Board, etc.)

Most state boards do not currently allow two improvement attempts in the same year

You usually get one chance in the year following your board result

Some boards may allow compartment + improvement separately, but not two full improvements

I passed 12 and gave neet and i sat for counseling.can i give improvement exam ?

gopi 16th Aug, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you can give improvement exams after passing 12th class. It doesn't actually matter if you have taken NEET too and appeared in counseling. Many students choose improvement to increase their 12th standard marks because they think it will help them meet eligibility criteria (for example 50% marks in PCB for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC, 45% for PwD) . However, please note:

  • Improvement is usually done by the same board (CBSE/State Board) in the next academic session.
  • NEET will consider the latest qualifying marks of the candidate (improvement included).
  • You can again apply for NEET, based on improvement marks.

So Yes, just because you have gone through counselling, does not stop you being able to come out to give improvement.

I AM PWD CANDIDATE WHICH CERTIFICATE I USE IN NEET EXAM TO GET EXTRA TIME

Chelsie G 17th Aug, 2025

Hello,
you should use a disability certificate issued by a competent authority, such as a Disability Certificate from a Government Hospital or the Chief Medical Officer, which clearly mentions your type and percentage of disability. For NEET, this certificate is required to avail extra time, scribe assistance, or other concessions. Make sure the certificate is recent, valid, and specifically mentions that you are eligible for such exam accommodations, as the NEET authorities will verify it during the application process.

Hello!

VBSU is a government university in Uttar Pradesh. The academics are decent. Infrastructure of this college is average you will get basic labs or computer facilities but it will not be like modern institutes. The fees structure is also affordable. The average placement of this University is around 2,50,000-4 lakh.

Overall it's a average college. If you looking for an affordable option you can go for it but if you want a college with good placements you can consider other options.

Can i still get admission for fybsc in viva college because its too late almost all college admissions are close

SHUBHANGI SINHA 16th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Even if the majority of college application deadlines have passed, it's still a good idea to inquire about 1st year Bachelor of Science and admissions at viva College because certain schools may have rolling or late admissions. The best option is to get in touch with the college directly.

Can i still get admission for fybsc in viva college because its too late almost all college admissions are close

Nikita shahi 16th Aug, 2025

Hi,

Admission timelines for FYBSc (First Year Bachelor of Science) depend on the university and the college you are applying to. Since you are asking about Viva College, it comes under Mumbai University. Generally, the admission rounds for FYBSc under Mumbai University happen in June–July after Class 12 results are declared. By August, most rounds are closed and very few seats remain. If you are late, it becomes difficult to get admission unless the college has vacant seats. However, don’t lose hope. Colleges sometimes open an “in-house round” or “spot admission round” if there are cancellations. The best step is to directly visit Viva College admission office, explain your situation politely, and request if any seats are still available. Sometimes management quota or special approval can also help. If Viva is completely closed, you can explore nearby colleges under the same university which might still have a few seats open.

Thank you, and all the best!
