If MBBS is your only goal, consider reappearing for NEET next year with stronger preparation. Otherwise, BDS, BAMS, or BPT are good alternatives that can still lead to successful careers in healthcare.

In previous years, the cutoff for EnC at GIT has usually been above 30,000 in COMEDK and even higher in KCET for general category students. Your rank is well within that range.

Unless cutoffs become significantly tougher this year, you should be able to secure a seat. If you belong to a reserved category or Hyd-Kar quota, your chances improve further.

Yes, a General Merit (GM) student should think about attending the 2nd extended round of KCET counselling. Although the seat matrix may reflect "No GM seats" initially, there may still be openings due to withdrawals, non-reporting by allotted candidates, or upgrades from earlier rounds. All vacated seats were renewed, not currently being used by candidates, and some of these openings can be again filled under GM category. Many students have gained good seats in this round by attending 2nd extended counselling, although the first matrix indicated "zero".
