polytechnic mein Mere number 144 hai aur open rank 63649hai to kya sir mujhe government college Lucknow me milega or mai OBC category ka vidyarthiyon hu lucknow me koun sa college miye ga ye bataiye sir please

Previa Gayu 26th Jun, 2025

If you have scored 144 marks in the polytechnic entrance exam and your open category rank is 63649 then getting admission into a government polytechnic college in Lucknow may be difficult Government colleges usually have higher cutoff ranks and most of the seats are filled by candidates with ranks up to around twenty thousand to thirty thousand However you should still participate in the counselling process and include government colleges in Lucknow in your priority list during choice filling If you do not get a seat in the initial rounds you may still have a chance during the mop up or spot rounds You can also consider applying to government aided or private polytechnic colleges Keep checking the official counselling website regularly for updates on merit lists and seat allotments so that you do not miss any opportunity for admission

I have got 5k jee mains and category 36000 what to do

Pradeepa P 26th Jun, 2025

If you have got 5000 rank in JEE Main and a category rank of 36000 , here is what you can do:

  1. Check Your Category and Home State Quota
Your chances depend on your category like OBC, SC, ST, EWS and home state. Category rank is useful for admission through reservation.

  2. Use JoSAA Choice Filling
Participate in JoSAA counselling. Fill maximum choices including NITs, IIITs, GFTIs. Try branches like Metallurgy, Chemical, Civil, or newer branches in top institutes.

  3. Target NITs and IIITs
With 5000 common rank, you have strong chances in

    • Top NITs for core or less competitive branches

    • Good IIITs for CSE or ECE if you belong to reserved category

  4. Consider State Counselling Too
If you have a state quota like in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, etc., apply in your state counselling where your chances might be higher.

  5. Keep Backup Options
Include private colleges with good placement like VIT, SRM, or other state-level colleges if needed.

Is Ap students also eligible for cpget exam?

harsh singh 25th Jun, 2025

Yes, students from Andhra Pradesh can appear for the TS CPGET (Telangana State Common Post Graduate Entrance Test). Here’s what you need to know:

The eligibility requirement is a bachelor's degree (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., B.Tech, etc.) with at least 40% marks (aggregate)—this does not specify state domicile.

There are no domicile restrictions mentioned, unlike many Karnataka-based entrance tests (e.g., KCET).
