It’s a close call, so make sure to fill OUTR CSE as a top preference during counselling and also keep backup options like IT or ECE. Monitor the counselling rounds closely for better chances.

With 92 percentile in MHT-CET, you can easily get Mechatronics in colleges like MMIT Pune and TCET Mumbai. These colleges have lower cutoffs, so admission is likely. You can also try related branches like AI & DS or Robotics in private colleges like PCCOE, AISSMS, VIIT, etc.

With a 3000 DCET rank, you can get good Bangalore colleges like RNSIT, Atria, CMRIT, and possibly DSATM (non-CSE branches more likely). These colleges fall within your rank range for lateral entry. Prioritize them in counseling.

If you had written your score, then I could have given a targeted answer. But, no worries I will give you a general answer. If you have a low score and you still want yo pursue MBBS, then you can search for colleges with low cutoff marks, or you can take admission in management quota. If that is not possible, you can think of pursuing MBBS from other countries like Nepal, Russia or Philippines. If you don't want to go abroad, then you can take a drop this year and apply for neet next year. But don't lose hope, you will achieve what you want with hardwork and patience. Yes, PhD students are generally eligible for hostel facilities in most universities and institutes, but priority is often given to UG (B.Tech), PG (M.Tech), and other full-time programs depending on the institution’s policy and availability of rooms.

• Visit or call the university hostel office and inquire specifically for PhD hostel availability.

• Email the PhD coordinator or Dean of Students to get written confirmation.

• Mention clearly that your classes start on July 1, 2025 , and you require accommodation from that date .

• If hostel is not guaranteed, arrange temporary accommodation near campus for the first few weeks.

With 4578 rank in Phase 2, you’re on the edge for getting ECE at SRM KTR. Last year’s cutoff was around 5000, so you have a chance, but it's not guaranteed. Apply early and keep backup options like other campuses or branches.

With 285 marks (OBC), you have a chance to get a government BAMS seat in states with lower cutoffs like UP, MP, or Bihar. But chances are low in high-cutoff states, so keep semi-govt or private colleges as backup.
