Hello Aspirant,
Given your Common Rank of 2308 and OBC-NCL Category rank of 680, your chances of getting B.F.Tech in NIFT Kannur in Round 2 (UG 2025) can be assessed as moderate or low. Past years in which OBC-NCL closing ranks for B.F.Tech at NIFT Kannur have haven't crossed the range of 400-650. Being just beyond that limit means that you may be waitlisted or allocated in subsequent rounds if candidates drop out or cut-offs decline later on.
Hello Candidate,
There are 86 engineering colleges in India that accept the CUET score for admission in their BTech program. Among them, 34 are government-operated colleges, while 52 are privately owned.
Some of the government colleges which offers B.Tec programs via CUET are Banaras Hindu University, University of Delhi, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), JNU, Assam University, Jamia Millia Islamia , University of Hyderabad, University of Delhi, Allahabad University etc .
Private colleges such as Amity University Noida, Lovely Professional University, and UPES Dehradun , MMUT, Galgotias University, Christ University, SPSU etc. are included in the engineering Colleges in India accepting CUET for BTech admissions.
Hope it helps.
With a 16 percentile in MHT- CET , admission into civil engineering branch at Pune is unfortunately not possible. Even mid-tier institutes like PCCOE, DYP, and SIPIT have closing percentiles far higher—typically around 70–80 plus percentile for Civil, and top ones like COEP closing at 98 plus percentile
You can now apply for polytechnic (Diploma) and then use lateral entry to B.Tec
All the Best.
If you are interested in pursuing BCA from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, here is the admission process:
Hello Vivek,
If you have not performed JEE or KEAM and still want to pursue B.Tech in Computer Science, don't worry there are still options:
you can study b.tech in computer science without giving JEE exam by taking admission through management quota or spot admission or in private institutes that accept 12th marks only. entrance exam is not mandatory in many private colleges . you should focus now on building coding skills and gaining practical knowledge for future placements.

If you are a Karnataka PU student who joined a diploma lateral entry course during your drop year, but now wants to get admission into an engineering college based on your 2nd PUC marks (not through the diploma), you should give the Transfer Certificate (TC) from your PU college.
As you are not going the diploma route to get admitted into engineering, then the PU TC only is enough and valid. But if you have already went to a diploma institute, even if for a small number of days, I can foresee some colleges also asking for a TC or discontinuation certificate from the diploma institute, just to address the dual enrollment concern.
