Can I get nift kannur with 2308 common rank and 680 category rank obc ncl in b.f tech round 2 ug 2025

gopi 9th Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Given your Common Rank of 2308 and OBC-NCL Category rank of 680, your chances of getting B.F.Tech in NIFT Kannur in Round 2 (UG 2025) can be assessed as moderate or low. Past years in which OBC-NCL closing ranks for B.F.Tech at NIFT Kannur have haven't crossed the range of 400-650. Being just beyond that limit means that you may be waitlisted or allocated in subsequent rounds if candidates drop out or cut-offs decline later on.

Sir, Which colleges we can take admissions for engineering through CUET

tanvi bansal 9th Jul, 2025

Hello Candidate,

There are 86 engineering colleges in India that  accept the CUET score for admission in their BTech program. Among them, 34 are government-operated colleges, while 52 are privately owned.

Some of the government colleges which offers B.Tec programs via CUET are Banaras Hindu University, University of Delhi,  Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), JNU, Assam University,  Jamia Millia Islamia , University of Hyderabad, University of Delhi,  Allahabad University etc .

Private colleges such as Amity University Noida, Lovely Professional University, and UPES Dehradun , MMUT,  Galgotias University,  Christ University,  SPSU etc. are included in the engineering Colleges in India accepting CUET for BTech admissions.

Hope it helps.

I have 16 percentile in mht cet can i get admission in civil branch in pune at any low percentile collage

tanvi bansal 9th Jul, 2025

Hello Candidate,

With a 16 percentile in MHT- CET , admission into civil engineering branch at Pune is unfortunately not possible. Even mid-tier institutes like PCCOE, DYP, and SIPIT have closing percentiles far higher—typically around 70–80 plus percentile for Civil, and top ones like COEP closing at 98 plus percentile

You can now apply for polytechnic (Diploma) and then use lateral entry to B.Tec

Hope it helps.

All the Best.

How can I do BCA from BBAU? Whats the admission process?

gopi 9th Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

If you are interested in pursuing BCA from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, here is the admission process:

  1. Eligibility: You should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Mathematics in class 12. A minimum aggregate percentage may be required (generally around 50%).
  2. Entrance Exam (CUET-UG): The admission to the BCA program will be based on your marks in Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) which is conducted by NTA. You need to apply for CUET and select the BBAU as one of your universities.
  3. You must register for CUET-UG from the NTA website (https://www.nta.ac.in/) and apply during the time it is open. After the Declaration of results, you can apply for counselling/admission available on BBAU admission portal. You will have to attend the university level counselling based on your CUET scores and seat availability.
  4. Documents: You must have your 10th & 12th mark sheets, CUET score card, photo identity card, category certificate (if applicable), and passport size photographs.

I am not written in jee and keam exams. But i need study btech computer science. Pls tell some solutions

gopi 9th Jul, 2025

Hello Vivek,

If you have not performed JEE or KEAM and still want to pursue B.Tech in Computer Science, don't worry there are still options:

  1. Direct Admission in Private Colleges: Private engineering colleges and deemed universities in India allow students to take admission based on 12th marks. So, look out for universities with good reputation and placements.
  2. Management Quota Seats: Some universities also reserve a few seats in management quota. You can go to the university directly, inquire about the slots reserved and fee structure.
  3. State Level Counselling: You will also be able to apply in your stage level counselling process (like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, etc.) where JEE/KEAM admission is not mandatory and students need to submit their 12th marks.
  4. Diploma to B.Tech (Lateral Entry): You have another option of completing a diploma in Computer Science and then join the B.Tech through lateral entry to second year through government entrance exams like LEET.
  5. Online B.Tech/Distance Education (for working professional): Some universities like UGC approved online B.Tech, this option is mostly for the working professionals.

i am Karnataka pu student due to some issues i am not able to attend the kcet councelling and I joined diploma lateral entry in the drop year and now want to join engineering college on the bases of 2nd pu so now either which transfer certificate should I provide to engineering college

gopi 9th Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

If you are a Karnataka PU student who joined a diploma lateral entry course during your drop year, but now wants to get admission into an engineering college based on your 2nd PUC marks (not through the diploma), you should give the Transfer Certificate (TC) from your PU college.

As you are not going the diploma route to get admitted into engineering, then the PU TC only is enough and valid. But if you have already went to a diploma institute, even if for a small number of days, I can foresee some colleges also asking for a TC or discontinuation certificate from the diploma institute, just to address the dual enrollment concern.
