Meghana,
With 185643 rank in KCET, chances of getting EEE or CSE in top or mid-level colleges of Bangalore, Hubli, Dharwad, or Belagavi are almost zero.
You may get a seat only in low-level private colleges (and that too mostly in branches like IT, ECE, or Mechanical — not EEE/CSE).
If you specifically want Bangalore/Hubli/Dharwad/Belagavi, then you’ll have to go through management quota or higher fee private colleges.
Government colleges and reputed private colleges are not possible with this rank.
Yes Shreyashi, transferring schools mid-session in Class X is possible, but it depends on a few things:
1. School & Board Rules: Some schools allow mid-year transfers if your current school issues a Transfer Certificate (TC) and Migration Certificate (for CBSE/ISC). State board rules vary—often they don’t encourage transfers during Class X unless there's a valid reason like relocation or medical issues.
2. Academic Balance: Make sure the new school teaches similar subjects and syllabi so you don’t fall behind. Some schools also have availability limits.
3. Plan Ahead: Once you have the TC, Migration Certificate, and mark sheet for the last exam you passed, apply to your new school immediately. They’ll help with subject alignment and regis
tration.
With a state merit rank of 1182, your chances for B.N. College of Architecture (BNCA), Pune are quite good, since BNCA usually closes admission for general category around 2000–2200 ranks in state merit through CAP rounds. If you belong to a reserved category, your chances are even stronger. However, competition is higher for the aided division, so you may get a seat in the unaided (self-financed) division more easily.
If your university is UGC-approved, then the B.Tech CSE degree with a bridge course in Maths is valid and legally recognized for jobs and higher studies, since universities don’t necessarily need AICTE approval. However, lack of AICTE recognition can sometimes create issues for PSU jobs, GATE, or government scholarships, so if your main goal is private sector jobs, higher studies abroad, or general industry roles, it is safe, but for PSU/government pathways, you should confirm AICTE approval before joining.
With an All India Rank of around 7.2 lakh and AP state merit rank of 26,000 in NEET 2025, it will be very difficult to get a BAMS seat in SV Ayurvedic College, Tirupati, especially under the OC category, as cutoffs there are usually much higher. You might have a chance in private BAMS colleges in Andhra Pradesh through management quota, but government BAMS seats in SV Ayurvedic College are not likely at your rank.
With 39.36 percentile in MHT CET (OBC category), your chances in top Pune engineering colleges are very slim since most cutoffs are much higher. However, you may still find options in lower-ranked private colleges or newly established institutes where cutoffs go very low. Some Pune colleges that may still consider such percentile are:
JSPM Narhe Technical Campus, Pune
Samarth Group of Institutions, Belhe
Imperial College of Engineering & Research, Wagholi
SVPM’s College of Engineering, Malegaon (Baramati)
Alard College of Engineering & Management, Hinjewadi
Admission is not guaranteed, but in lower rounds or through institute-level/management quota, you may get a seat.
For an Indian student, the most suitable countries to pursue B.Arch are those that balance quality of education, global recognition, affordability, and career prospects. Popular choices include:
India – CEPT University (Ahmedabad), SPA Delhi/Bhopal/Vijayawada, Sir JJ College of Architecture (Mumbai) – affordable and highly reputed.
USA – MIT, Harvard GSD, Cornell, UC Berkeley – world-class but very costly.
UK – University College London (UCL), University of Bath, Manchester School of Architecture – globally recognized, moderate duration.
Canada – University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, McGill – easier PR pathway, high-quality education.
Australia – University of Sydney, RMIT, UNSW – good for career and migration.
Singapore – NUS – strong global ranking, closer to India.
If you want global exposure + job opportunities, Canada and Australia are most suitable. If you want affordable and top-ranked education, CEPT or SPA in India is best.
MSM Sainik School, Sri Ganganagar is a well-equipped, defence-oriented residential school with robust NDA preparation through written coaching, SSB training, and NCC involvement. That said, the school doesn’t publicly share data on how many cadets have secured NDA selection yet, and no unaffiliated sources offer that information either so if knowing exact outcomes is critical to you, it’s best to directly contact the school’s administration for the latest alumni performance figures.
Hey Rasuli:)
You were born on 31.5.2010,so you're 15 years old right now. There is no limit on the number of NDA attempts. To take the NDA exam you must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years old, so you'll become eligible at 16.5 and can continue appearing until 19.5.Since NDA is held twice a year ,you can realistically make around 4-5 attempts during this age period.
All the best!!
