Hi dear candidate,
With the rank of 400,000 in NEET exam you can expect colleges like VELS Medical College that accepts admissions with rank around and above 4,00,000. The government colleges are unlikely to fall under your rank so private colleges or deemed universities is the option you have. The fees for VELS Medical College is around INR 19,00,000 per year for MBBS. You may also consider a year drop if you are not satisfied with the admission this time to score better in 2026.

Hello Aspirant,
In the NIT Surathkal GATE cutoff list, G1 and G2 refer to seat categories for admission through CCMT counselling.
G1: General pool of seats—includes all primary category seats like General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, PwD.
G2: Additional or supernumerary seats—may include seats reserved for specific categories (e.g., industry-sponsored, foreign nationals, or special quotas) depending on the institute’s policy.
For most candidates applying through GATE via CCMT, G1 is the main seat category you should focus on.
All the best for your M.Tech admission process.

hi,
83,916 in AP EAMCET 2025 and BC-B reservation, getting an IT seat in SRKR Bhimavaram is difficult. The closing rank for IT in SRKR usually stays much lower than your rank. For BC-B category, students with better ranks generally get the IT seats.

In various entrance exams, both the integrated rank and branch rank are considered for the admission, but both of these serve different purpose.
Integrated rank: Used for seat allocation and counselling.
Branch rank: Used for determining in which specific engineering branch you will get admission like in CSE, AI/ML, Mechanical etc.
I hope now you understand that both of these ranks are important.
BEST REGARDS
Hello,
For rank vs college , the integrated rank is considered, not the branch rank.
Colleges use your overall rank (integrated rank) for giving admission, not the rank of a specific branch.
Hope it helps !
With 356 marks in NEET and coming under the SC category, you are eligible to get a government seat. For SC students, the cutoffs are lower compared to the general category. In many states, with 356 marks, you can get a seat in government BDS, BAMS, or even MBBS in some states with lower cutoffs. It depends on your home state and the competition in that year.
Can you please specify in which particular exam you have got 1356 rank with SC category, so that we can help you further. Although, you have scored a good rank of 1356 but we still need to know which exam you had given like JEE, NEET etc.
Generally, at your rank and with SC category you have good chances for studying in a government college. You can any time check which college you will get at this particular rank with the help of our college prediction tool:
