Dear student,
With a rank of 18,505 in AP EAPCET, getting a free seat in B.Sc Agriculture depends on a few key factors—your category, region, income, and how the seats are distributed this year.
If you belong to the SC category , you still have a fair chance, especially in the SVU region , where last year’s cutoffs for SC candidates went up to around 18,776 . In contrast, cutoffs in the AU region were lower, generally under 12,000 . So, your chances are slightly better in SVU.
For a free seat (full fee reimbursement) , you must also meet the income criteria . SC/ST students are eligible if the family income is below Rs. 2,00,000 per year , while for BC and OC categories, the limit is Rs. 1,00,000 . Make sure to have a valid income certificate during counselling.
Admission is also influenced by your gender, farmer quota, and region . Every detail counts in deciding your allotment.
In short, while getting a free seat in a government college is tough at your rank, it’s not impossible —particularly if you’re SC from SVU with proper documents. In private colleges , you may still get a seat, but full fee reimbursement is rare and depends on government policies.
To improve your chances, participate in the counselling process, fill in all options wisely , and keep checking the official EAPCET portal for updated cutoffs. Prepare all documents in advance, especially caste and income certificates .
With a KCET agriculture practical rank of 8800 , you fall just outside the cutoff for top government colleges like GKVK Bengaluru and Dharwad , where the ranks typically close around 5200–8500. However, you still stand a good chance in other government colleges such as Mandya , Hassan , Shahapur , and Raichur , especially if you come under a reserved category .
Reserved categories like SC, ST, and OBC usually have higher closing ranks , which increases your chances significantly. So, if you belong to any of these, you may still get into decent government colleges.
In terms of private colleges , your rank is well within the usual admission range. These colleges generally accept higher ranks and have more available seats, so your chances there are very strong .
A few other things matter too—your category, number of applicants this year, and how many rounds of counselling you go through. If you don’t get a seat in the first round, don’t give up—many students get seats in the later rounds or spot counselling .
Hello,
KVR College admissions are done through the OAMDC portal (https://oamdc.ap.gov.in) . The apply dates usually start in June or July , just after the intermediate results.
To join the college, you need to register on the OAMDC portal, upload your documents, select KVR College during web options, and wait for seat allotment. If you get a seat, pay the fee and confirm your admission.
For exact dates and process, keep checking the OAMDC website or contact the college directly.
Hope it helps !
If your GSA-CMA verification is not done, then you will have to wait. The verification process will reopen when the authorities announce it again.
You should keep checking the official website or notification section regularly for updates.
Hi dear candidate,
The fee structure depends on what course or diploma you will pursue after you have passed your intermediate exams.
For science students, most popular choices are B.Tech for PCM students and B.Sc/ BAMS/ BHMS/ MBBS for PCB students. The fees is as follows:
B.Tech: Total around 6 to 8 Lakhs in a decent private college and lower fees in a government college.
Medical courses: These are costly especially for MBBS with annual fees around 18 lakhs. The B.Sc courses shares similar fees structure or even less as B.Tech.
For Commerce students, B.Com (//B.Com) is most popular choice with total fees around 5 lakhs.
For Arts students, B.A is most popular with fees around 4 lakhs total.
It completely depends which course you will pick and hostel fees depends on college to college so checking at their website is more helpful.
ALL THE BEST!

dear student,
With 347 marks in NEET 2025 and belonging to the OBC category , you've qualified, but it's not enough for a government MBBS seat .
Most OBC cutoffs for government MBBS seats are above 480–550 marks , depending on the state. Even in less competitive states, 347 is too low for MBBS in government colleges.
Hey! Just to help you better—can you tell me which exam this is and which course or college you're aiming for? The chances really depend on the category, state, and the type of course you're targeting. Let me know, and I’ll give you a clearer idea!
