hi,
79 marks in TS ICET 2025 , your expected rank may be around 12,000 to 16,000. This is an approximate range based on previous years.
At this rank, try for colleges like Aurora’s, Vishwa Vishwani, Siddhartha Institute, CMR, Lords Institute, and similar colleges. These colleges usually accept students with this rank range
72% marks in graduation, sometimes selection doesn’t happen because marks alone are not enough. Many times, other things like entrance exam scores, interviews, extra skills, experience, or high competition can decide the selection. It’s also possible that other students had stronger profiles or extra certificates, or the cutoffs were higher this year.
Whether the 2nd round of counselling will be offline or online will depend on which college or university will pursue it. Please confirm the counselling notification on the respective institution website. If the counselling is online you must upload the scanned documents accordingly and fill the counselling form and submit them to online. As stated above you must always only act on the directions of the official counselling notice you have received or if you require exact details call the helpline numbers as provided on the official site you'll find all the details there.
Considering your information—63.84% in the qualifying exam, female from Maharashtra, and part of the NT-B category—you qualify to apply to Government Law College (GLC), Mumbai, as long as you have taken the MH CET Law entrance exam. For categories like NT-B, the usual minimum percentage needed in Class 12 is around 40%, so you satisfy that requirement.
Admission to GLC is very competitive and largely depends on your MH CET Law entrance score. In previous years, applicants in the NT-B category had to achieve approximately 85 marks or higher out of 150 in MH CET Law to obtain a seat in GLC, particularly for the 5-year law course.
Thus, although your board percentage is satisfactory, your likelihood of admission will mainly rely on your performance in the entrance exam. A strong CET score gives you a fair opportunity because of your reservation category and local residency benefit.
Hope this helps. All the best!
