9th standard Tamil question half yearly of yearly of yearly

Meghdeep Laha 14th Dec, 2025

Hello,

The 9th half yearly examination is conducted by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of School Education. The half yearly is very important as it would prepare the students for the upcoming annual examination. They would get an overview of the exam pattern, marking scheme, etc.

The papers would be released shortly by the authority. Check out the official website of Careers360 for the paper's link, answer key and many more.

RRB exams (NTPC, Group D)

State government exams

UPSC (if you are interested in administration)

My question is, I am studying in class 11 (Arts stream). But my dream is to become a good doctor. Since I am currently studying Arts, are there any courses I can take to become a doctor? Also, I have been working at a medical shop for the past 5 months.

Shaily Mishra 14th Dec, 2025

If you want to become a doctor (MBBS), then Arts stream is not eligible for that path. To study MBBS in India, you must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) in class 11 and 12 and clear NEET.

What you can do now:

Option 1: Switch to science (PCB)

If possible, change your stream to PCB through your school or by taking NIOS (open schooling). After completing 12th with PCB, you can appear for NEET and try for MBBS.

Option 2: Other medical and healthcare courses (without MBBS)

If switching streams is not possible, you can still work in the medical field through courses like:

BSc Nursing (some colleges allow non-PCB via bridge courses)

BSc Psychology

BSc Medical Lab Technology

Pharmacy (DPharm/BPharm – PCB preferred but rules vary)

Hospital Administration

Public Health courses

if my registration is done but im not prepare yet for my boards exam ,can i take a drop for 1 year and repeat the next year, kya mere marksheet pr failed likhayega? or kya mai next year as a private candidate jaungi??

Shaily Mishra 14th Dec, 2025

If you are registered but do not appear for the board exam this year, it will not be considered a failure and nothing like “fail” will be written on your marksheet. You can take a one-year drop and appear next year, even as a private candidate, as per board rules. Your next year’s marksheet will be fully valid and will not mention the drop year or any previous attempt.
