i have completed mbbs from mp born in mp but studied from 3 to 10 in Gujarat. parents are in Gujarat since 15 years have property in gujarat.i want to take admission for md through state quota of Gujarat. what are the eligibility criteria for this . will i get domicile certificate of Gujarat

Nitin Kumar 15th Jun, 2024

Most government medical colleges in Gujarat reserve a significant portion of seats (around 85%) for students with a Gujarat domicile certificate.

Having completed MBBS from MP and studied from Grade 3-10 in Gujarat might make your eligibility for the Gujarat state quota a bit complex.

Since you completed MBBS in MP, you might have an MP domicile certificate. This could put you under the All India Quota (open to students from all states) for Gujarat MD admissions, not the state quota.  If your parents have resided in Gujarat for 15 years and own property there, they might be eligible for a Gujarat domicile certificate. However, this doesn't automatically translate to your eligibility.

Some states consider the location of your 10+2 education (Class 11 & 12) more important for a domicile certificate. Since you did that in Gujarat, it might strengthen your case for a Gujarat domicile certificate.

Explore the possibility of obtaining a Gujarat domicile certificate. You can approach the Tehsildar's office in your parent's current residence area in Gujarat. Explain your situation and inquire about the documents and procedures required for obtaining a domicile certificate based on your parents' 15-year residency and property ownership.

I hope it helps!

weight of co2 obtained by complete combustion of 480g carbon atom

Tanya Gupta 16th Jun, 2024

Hello,

The weight of CO2 obtained by the complete combustion of 480g carbon is calculated as follows:

1. Atomic weight of carbon (C) = 12 g/mol

2. Moles of carbon = 480 g / 12 g/mol = 40 moles

3. Molecular weight of CO2= 44 g/mol

4. Weight of CO2= 40 moles * 44 g/mol = 1760 g

Therefore, the weight of CO2 obtained is 1760 grams.

Hostel facility and 1year fees of hostel

Tanya Gupta 16th Jun, 2024

Hello,

The hostel facilities and fees can vary depending on the institution and location. Typically, hostel fees cover accommodation, basic furniture, electricity, water, and sometimes internet access.

In India, for example, hostel fees at educational institutions can range widely. In general, hostel fees can vary from 30,000 to 1,00,000 per year, depending on factors such as the institution's location (urban or rural), facilities provided (single or shared rooms, AC or non-AC), and additional amenities (like food services, laundry, and recreational areas).

Facilities in hostels usually include common areas for studying and socializing, security measures, and sometimes additional services like gymnasiums or sports facilities. It's recommended to check with the specific institution for exact fees and facilities offered, as they can differ significantly.

I got 60 percentile in KIITEE, will I get any of the electronics branch ?

Tanya Gupta 16th Jun, 2024

Hello,

With a 60 percentile in KIITEE, your chances of securing a seat in any of the electronics branches at KIIT (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology) depend on the overall competition and cutoffs for that year. Generally, higher percentile scores are required for popular branches like Electronics and Communication Engineering. However, KIIT conducts multiple rounds of counseling, and cutoffs can vary. It’s advisable to participate in the counseling process, keep an eye on the cutoff trends, and have backup options in case you do not secure a seat in your preferred branch.

Hope this helps,

I have fill th Mumbai University form but in course selection by mistake baf course but I have to take b.com.. plz can you help me

Nitin Kumar 15th Jun, 2024

If the university website doesn't offer any online editing option, contact the Mumbai University Admissions Office as soon as possible. Explain your situation (mistakenly choosing BAF instead of B.Com.) and inquire about the possibility of correcting your course selection.

If the university allows editing within a specific window, they might guide you through the process on their website or provide instructions.

If editing isn't permitted, the admissions office might advise you on alternative solutions, such as:

  • Cancellation and Re-application: You might have to cancel your current application and submit a new one with the correct course selection (B.Com.). This could lead to missing deadlines if the application window is about to close.

  • Fresh Application Next Year: In the worst-case scenario, you might have to wait until the next application cycle to apply for B.Com.

  • Act Quickly: The sooner you contact the admissions office, the better your chances of rectifying the mistake.
  • Gather Information: While contacting the admissions office, have your application details (reference number, etc.) ready. Explain the situation clearly and ask for specific instructions on how to proceed.

  • Explore Alternative Options: If editing isn't possible, consider the alternative solutions provided by the admissions office. Weigh the pros and cons of each option (cancellation and re-application vs. waiting for next year) before making a decision.
