Cuet cut off for ba economics for du colleges

Nikita shahi 25th Jul, 2025

Hi Adrita!

Thank you for your question, it's an important question, especially if you are aiming for DU.

BA Economics is a highly competitive course at the University of Delhi. The cut-offs, based on CUET scores, are generally very high. Here's a rough breakdown based on previous years.

• Top colleges like :SRCC, St. Stephen’s, Hindu, Hansraj, LSR need  99.5–100 percentile.

• Mid-tier colleges such as Ramjas, Kirori Mal, Dyal Singh: 97–98.5 percentile.

• And lower-ranked colleges'  Cut-offs can go down to around 92–95 percentile.

These ranges can vary depending on:Your category (General, EWS, OBC, SC/ST), your subject combination in CUET and your college preference and location.

For more information on the BA Economics course at the University of Delhi,, you can check here:

Also, consider applying to a mix of colleges and keep backup options ready at other universities. Wishing you all the best for your admissions!

hello everyone myself Umesh I have done my schooling and bachelors in technology and civil engineering from Jammu and now I am planning to do M.TECH from Maharashtra Pune so is it possible for is there any college which allows in Kashmiri migrants quota to do so please give detailed information

Nikita shahi 25th Jul, 2025

Hi Umesh!

Thanks for your question. Yes, you can apply for M.Tech in colleges outside Jammu & Kashmir under the Kashmiri Migrant quota. Many AICTE-approved institutes and universities across states like Maharashtra, Delhi, Punjab, and Karnataka offer special quota seats for Kashmiri migrants. Since you’re planning to study in Pune, here’s what you should know. Colleges like COEP Technological University, VJTI Mumbai, and MIT-WPU do offer admissions under this quota but availability may vary each year depending on state-level DTE counselling.

You’ll need to apply through Maharashtra CAP and make sure you have all necessary documents like Kashmiri Migrant Certificate, Domicile, and relevant educational qualifications. During registration, select the option for Kashmiri Migrant and upload the required proofs. While each institute has its own intake under this quota it’s best to check the latest CAP brochure or contact individual colleges for M.Tech seat matrix updates. Admission is usually based on GATE score, but some colleges may also accept non-GATE candidates for vacant seats.

Hope this helps, and all the best for your M.Tech journey!

CSE COURSE BAPATLA ENGINEERING COLLEGE OR VIGNAN UNIVERSITY WHERE JOIN BETTER

gopi 25th Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

With both Bapatla Engineering College (BEC) and Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology and Research (Vignan University) offering Computer Science Engineering (CSE) programs, the best choice depends on which factors matter to you:

  1. Academics and Affordability: BEC has a structure and rigor in academic environment, on the other hand BEC is usually cheaper. This is a good call for those who want to undertake a focused engineering education in a cheap manner.
  2. Infrastructure and Exposure: On the other side, Vignan University has modern infrastructure, a bigger campus, better facilities, better exposure in terms of workshops, global tie-ups and placement training. However, it comes with a higher price.
  3. Placements: If you take placements into consideration, CSE in both are going to produce decent placements, however, Vignan University at a slight edge (may not be factually correct), as it is a private university and it has wider network.

If you are looking for better academic rigour as well as affordability, BEC is for you. If you are looking for a holistic campus experience with better infrastructure and exposure to industry , you can go for Vignan University.

is bbose is valid for admission in private university for engineering?

Abhi sonkar 25th Jul, 2025

good afternoon, yes, BBOSE (Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination) is a recognized board under the Government of Bihar, and its 12th-grade certificate is generally valid for admission to engineering programs in private universities across India.

Recognition Status

BBOSE is officially recognized, so students are eligible to appear in entrance exams like JEE Main, CUET, or university-specific tests.

Most private universities like SRM, LPU, VIT, and Manipal accept students from recognized boards, including BBOSE.

Exceptions

Some private colleges may have internal policies or preferences for traditional boards (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards).

Always check the eligibility criteria on the university’s official website or contact their admission office directly.

can a not alloted seat candidate reorder preference list of du in 2nd round

gopi 25th Jul, 2025

Hello Akash,

Yes, candidates who are not allocated a seat in the first round of Delhi University (DU) admissions can reorder their preference list during the period allowed before round two. DU normally has a 'Preference Editing Window' after each round for candidates to reorder, add or subtract program college preferences.

However, this is only possible if not allocated a seat in the earlier round and your application is still valid.

I have scored 91.16 percentile in mah mba cet 2025 ....will I get admission this year? Please give clarity on placement and package I have to take loan for mba , so I want placement any how .....pls reply

OISHEE BANERJEE 25th Jul, 2025

With a 91.16 percentile in MAH MBA CET 2025, you have a good chance of securing admission in decent MBA colleges in Maharashtra. While top institutes like JBIMS or Sydenham may be out of reach, colleges such as PUMBA, SIES, Chetana’s, MET, and DY Patil are realistic options. Among these, PUMBA offers the best return on investment with a low fee structure and an average package of around 6–6.5 LPA. Other colleges typically offer packages in the 3.5–5.5 LPA range. Since you plan to take a loan, choosing a college with low fees and strong placement support is important. Make sure to register and participate in all CAP rounds and prioritize your college options carefully. With the right choice and consistent effort during your MBA, placements are definitely possible.
